A comfortable win for England tonight against an Albanian side that offered very little upfront.

Albania were content to put 10 men behind the ball and try to hit England on the counter.

A goal in each half was enough for England tonight. Nice to see Lewis-Skelly get a goal on his debut & Kane took his goal well. His 70th for England.

It was good to get the win but I felt that England were too pedestrian at times, with two much passing around at the back & not enough slick passing up front for my liking.

Phil Foden was given a lot of the ball on the right hand side but I felt he didn't make the most of it.

I felt that England were just intent on passing it around too much & chances were not forthcoming for the amount of possession they had.

England reminded me of Notts when they are trying to break a team down that just sits back. Sometimes you just want them to go more direct to try something different..

A win is a win, but there will be harder games than this one & England will have to improve, if they want success against the better sides.

I totally agree with you @Robbie.The patient sideways and backwards passing was far too slow at times ,but ,as you say,a win is a win.

Yes I watched it & as I have said the performance wasn't great but the win was important.

England's build up was slow, & side to side passing at the back just like we've seen at Notts.

Kane's well taken goal in the second half was the stand out.

@super_ram told me, but I find it hard to just watch England unless it's a major tournament. The Nations League isn't something I find all that interesting, though the backward passing is just an element of the modern game.

Good win for England, but these types of games are more about introducing fringe and upcoming stars to the national team's setup in my eyes (which I support).
