Good evening. It's been a lovely day here. We both spent some time outside walking & completing 10K steps which is just over 4 miles.

After lunch we both sat out in the garden soaking up the sun & fresh air.

Looks like the weather is going to be fine this week so tomorrow it will be cut the lawn time.

Morning all we’ve just arrived in Southampton after a great two week cruise, the weather improved after the first few days and has been glorious.

I hope everyone is ok @Robbie thanks for keeping the weekly chat going, I’ll catch up with everyone when we get back home.

Good morning, it looks like I’ve brought some fine weather back with me from the canaries, lots to do today, emails to reply to, snail mail to sort, shopping to organise, washing to do, it’ll be all go for a couple of days. I’d better crack on.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning. Looks like it's going to be a lovely day here once again.

I planned to cut the grass yesterday, but it looks like we have a Queen Bumblebee, making a nest below our old tree stump.

We have seen this large bee going into a small hole below the stump a few times

When we were sitting in the garden the Bee was head bumping us. We have researched it & learned that bees head bumping is a warning to stay away from the nest.

We are going to monitor it's movements today. A Bee nest underground can grow into up to 400 Bees depending on the Bumble Bee species.

If it is a nest it's going to be an interesting summer to say the least.

Morning @Robbie I think bees are ok if you don’t bother them, I’d be more concerned if it was a wasp nest, they seem to delight in annoying people.

Talking about Bees. I've been reading all about them. Did you know there are Cuckoo Bees where a Cuckoo Queen Bee enters an established nest, kills the resident Queen, then gets the established workers to help it as it lays Cuckoo Bee eggs & they help rear the Cuckoo Bee young..

You learn something new every day.

Good morning.

Nice to wake up this morning after such a great win by Notts the night before. It's not just the win but the performance too.

Morning all, yes @Robbie I woke up wondering why I felt happy and then remembered last nights win.

You’ve got to laugh, yesterday we did a Tesco online order to be delivered today, a message came up to say we could have some chocolate and a can of lime flavoured coke as a free sample, did we want to add them to our basket, so of course we said yes and added them. This morning we’ve had a notification that the free samples are out of stock. 😂

Good evening. It been another lovely day here. We spent some time sitting in the garden soaking up the sun & the vitamin D

Ms Bumblebee has continued to come & go from her small hole in the ground. We've kept our distance today. Hope things work out for her.

Managed to do 8500 steps this morning, although I woke up a little stiff. Tomorrow I will be taking a days rest from the exertions of the week.

It was nice to watch a bit of Nottinghamshire cricket during the Afternoon which was being streamed  live from Trent Bridge. The start of the cricket season reminds us that the football season is getting close to its end.

I must say @Fan of Big Tone that is a brilliant photo especially how the reflection of the horse's from the water along with the swans. Did you capture it on your mobile phone?

Another nice photo with the horse & it's shadow along with it's perfect reflection from the water.

The light has to be right with the sun in the right place too.

Good morning it’s matchday, I’ll be listening on Radio Red but first I need to go to my park run, then I’ll be knackered for the rest of the day.

Have a great day folks and COME ON YOU PIES!
