A great morning for Notts at the Oval. Five wickets in the session. Surrey are 141 for, still trail Notts by 90 runs. James has 3 wickets & James has 2.

Notts have a 1st innings lead of 58. Hope Notts can build on this....

Notts are 88 for 5 at tea. Notts lead by 146 runs. They could do with getting that lead beyond 200.

That's 14 wickets in two sessions, 25 wickets in 5 sessions of cricket. The quality of this pitch is surely questionable.

After an enthralling days Cricket between the top two sides in the Country, Notts finish the 2nd day on 219 for 8, leading by 277.

A big rearguard partnership between James & Patterson- White, the former making 47 & the latter 58, with a crucial partnership of 91, has given Notts a chance to get a victory over the reigning Champions on the third day.

We could have an exciting conclusion to the County Championship decider between Surrey & Notts at the Oval today.

Notts are currently 219 for 8, & are 277 runs ahead. Can they extend that lead this morning to over 300?

Day three is underway at the Oval.

Notts are 256 all out with Ben Hutton undefeated with a vital 42. Surrey need 315 to win, Notts need 10 wickets. Notts have given themselves something to bowl at.

No breakthrough for Notts as the players break for an early tea due to bad light. Surrey 66 for 0 requiring a further 249 to win.

It could be an enthralling final day at the Oval with Surrey requiring 249 & Notts 10 wickets to win this clash of the top two sides in the County Championship. Will the Weather intervene to scupper the chances of both sides?
