What a win for Notts tonight against a good side that will be up there at the end of the season.

One thing that Martin Paterson has instilled into this squad is grit, determination & character, something that was missing in previous seasons.

It was a big loss with the news that Robertson was to be absent due to injury, but Norburn came in & played his part along with his teammates in a famous win tonight.

Terrific game tonight, even though we were second best in terms of play.

Dennis' great goal was very important. It would've been a different story if they'd scored the next goal.

It'll be interesting to see the penalty - it just looked like a crazy scramble from the far end of the Pavis. I don't think the foul on Tsaroulla was a pen. But Nemane should've been sent off for a second bookable offence. I think how quickly Warne subbing him soon afterwards at HT points to that as well. Fans had a right to be incensed about that.

Everyone played their part, but it will be good to get Robbo back and then the skipper.

Enjoy the three goals by Notts tonight. The first one a screamer from Dennis. Jatta at his absolute best & quick reactions from Iorpenda to get his first goal for Notts.

Fantastic win. There's no one team running away with the league but you have to say Notts are one of the better sides in the division. We will need to freshen things up in January and I'm sure we will.

i thought both teams did well, mk dons might feel unlucky but we share a lot in common with them. i think the pressure makes our defence switch off, and i feel the same way about mk dons. they are a dirty group of players, who seemed to enjoy being rough in stages where they tried to manage the game and break up our momentum but they did play some good football.

their first two goals, those could have really punished us, and i think matthew dennis strike is the get of jail card we needed. as it came from nowhere, and even tho they went back in the lead. it showed us we could score, and they made a similar blunder by allowing jatta in.

the game would have felt a natural draw, but to sneak the win does feel all the more satisfying.

tom iorpend was unlucky to hit the post earlier in the game and to see him win it for us in the dying minutes, well it makes one of those match days where you feel lucky and over the moon to have all 3 points.
