A great Notts win where they dominated & put Tranmere to the sword especially in that 2nd half.

Biggest win for Martin Paterson since he became the Notts Head Coach.

So who's your Notts Man of the Match today. It might be a difficult decision good luck in making your choice.

The players who I have chosen are,

Belshaw, Macari Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Robertson,Jones, Kouhyar, Iorpenda, Ndlovu, Grant, Dennis.

I want to mention the game-in, game-out right-side combo of Macari and Tsaroulla - such good players who have developed a real understanding between them. It might be his youthful persona, but Notts fans might be underestimating Macari and taking him a bit for granted. I think his play will have L1 and Championship clubs watching.

Another player who has to be mentioned is Iorpenda - fantastic. But I think he was even more fantastic after Norburn went off and he had to cover deep. We still get all the good stuff from him. (Would we have won 5-0 if Norburn had stayed on?)

But today belongs to Lee Ndlovu - he ragged dolled them, and his work for the 1st and 4th goals was even more impressive than his brace.

Grant for me. Some exquisite touches, non-stop running and closing down. Energetic, comfortable on the ball and provided the necessary spark that was missing until he came on.

No passengers again, terrific team display and some notable cameos from Tsaroulla, Iorpenda & Ndlovu. Pity about the Jones tantrum but that couldn’t mar a very solid display.

Iorpenda for me, he was immense. Credit to Grant too

There were some very good performances out there today, Grant, Tsaroulla, Iorpenda, Jones amongst them but my vote goes to Ndlovu for being in the right place at the right time.

I totally agree @theAnticlough the bond between Lewis and Nick has developed really well over the last couple of months, they seem to have a telepathic understanding and awareness of where each other is and what to do to progress the football. Until injury Norburn was running the show with sublime touches and the guile to open up space for his team mates, and when Grant replaced him, he had a great game. I think every player gave their all for the team yesterday and left everything out there, fantastic result. Bring on Grimsby next week, I can't wait. COYP

There were a number of candidates yesterday not least Tom Iorpenda who was magnificent all game. But I have gone for Lee Ndlovu. I just felt he gave us something different. His strength, pace and willingness to run on to balls over the top was something we've not see for a while. With him in the side or coming off the bench just gives another option to attack teams. Not to forget he scored two goals and could easily had a hat-trick.

I thought it was a very organised and excellent team performance, where everyone who played put a shift in and nothing was lacking, however Tom Iorpenda I thought was excellent. Winning the ball back, pressing forward and taking on players skillfully - it was a real joy to watch him.

Much of the control gained by us and the tempo towards securing the victory came from Iorpenda's drive.

Tranmere played very poorly, and I heard some comments during and after the game suggesting we only won because of that. Even from our own fans, some suggested we were poor ourselves and "boring" in the first half. The second goal killed the game, the third spiralled Tranmere into chaos and we thrived playing excellent passing football.
