When Notts needed a some good news after the unfortunate injury news about Matty Platt, Jayden coming back to Notts is a big boost, & hopefully he will be able to play a big part for Notts during the season run in. Him coming back should help to foster more competition for players in the AMA area.

This is good news I wasn't expecting - I thought he'd be out for the season. But I still won't get too excited about seeing much of him in action with a little more than a month to go.

Intriguing - he looked sharp and lively early in the season, the best of the loaners. The bad news that he’s been out for a very lengthy spell and others have progressed. If he’s fit he could be a handy addition to the squad but I can’t imagine he’s going to displace Grant, Iorpenda or Bennetts in the pecking order at this stage tbh..

Nice to see Jayden back with us, as others have said I can’t see him featuring much as the season comes to a close, I would imagine he needs to get fit again.

I thought Jayden Luker brought the best out of Tyrese Hall, before his injury. I am surprised to have seen him returned at this stage as I am not 100% sure we really need him, but that doesn't take away the usefulness his return may be. Plus with the concerns up top, it's welcome cover. Where ever he fits in, it is better to have him than not to have that cover. I know that might sound odd with me suggesting we might not need him, but that's just because of the amount of games we have left and it does make me wonder if it's more in case of ending up in the playoffs.

Please don't get me wrong, I am glad he's back.

@Chris I think that there is still room for someone to claim that number 10 role for Notts during the promotion run in.

I think that Jayden will give Martin more options on the bench. Martin does rate Jayden a lot, so I'm sure he's going to feature during the last 8 games & possibly the 3 playoff games if it is to be the playoffs.

To be fair, he can play out wide so there's options, and I think having someone else in those wider attacking positions will be help but I do look at our squad and wonder how he will get game time.

It's a question for Martin Paterson not me, and naturally Jayden Luker needs to take whatever chances come his way.

I already accepted that the No10 conundrum, if it's going to be solved at all, will be solved by committee, and he's one more for the committee!

Step by step I guess. As Chris says game time may be limited so he will have to try to shine in sub appearances and take it from there. We absolutely can't take chances or allow someone to rebuild their game in these 8 cup finals we have left .... Autos is one or two slip ups out of our grasp, and play-offs is 75% failure
