Apparently "them across the river" owe Derby County £85,000.

Are they still sulking after the thrashing they got @super_ram?

Forest fans should be concerned, as this could turn ugly.

Small sum for a Championship side throwing millions around on defenders, sacking managers right left and centre. It's just odd, I am sure the old 'We forgot' type excuse will crop up but still. They should cough up!

It's also apparently reported in the Sun that they owe up to £9 million to a catering company and they have petitioned for a winding up order against Fword.

I can't find a link to that though so it will have to remain allegedly.

Can't see this being true, as they tender the catering contract out like we do. So in fact they get money coming in and not money going out.

I honestly don't believe it is money issues. I think Warnock hit the nail when he said they don't have anyone who knows what they're doing there. Seems like they need a club secretary, CEO and all the normal staff under them to ensure it runs not just as a club but as a business.

made a mockery of the whole thing with the peltier signing. I read Warnock tried to get him at the club all day, but couldn't due to the fact that no one knew the rules regarding loans. He eventually rang Derby and asked them what the club needed to do to sort it out!

Seems like poor financial management.

Yes, I think you're right there, they haven't got the foggiest idea how a football club is run and they have got rid of all the people who did know.

Apparently it is the lack of co-operation from that lot that forced Derby's hand.Surely someone at the donkey sanctuary is capable of picking up a phone and explaining the situation.
