Just three defeats on the bounce and he's gone. There is absolutely no loyalty in Football nowadays. What the man has done for his club over the last 5 years is beyond measure.

In his defence there is a massive step up for clubs from League 2 when they start life in League One. Brimley had 23 incoming players and 18 going the other way. That's a big change round. Players have to gel together very quickly.

Sometimes I wonder if a club would be better off just recruiting & releasing a few players but keep the core of the squad that did so well the previous season. At least the players are well gelled & know each other well.

Check out some of his post match interviews, especially the Leicester one. He's been openly critical of his players. He should have known it's easier to replace the coach than the squad.

Also Bromley had a pretty poor run in last season so the club might be taking into account a fairly long period of poor form.
