While checking out some Notts stuff on Ebay (other internet auction sites are available) I came across this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1910-Notts-County-FC-Share-Certificate-STUNNING-UNIQUE-/230994334054?pt=UK_Coins_Share_Certificates_Bonds_LE&hash=item35c855d166

Now then, does holding any of these mean that you become a share holder of the club? Just a cheeky thought......

No, as the Notts Incorporated company ceased to exist after the assets were transferred to a new company when we exited administration. But it's interesting nonetheless (if genuine).

I remember that the trust sent out share certificates to members a few years back when they owned a good part of the club. They might be worth a bob or two one day.

Good find, I've forward it to a friend who collects Notts items. I'm wondering if he would take a gamble on it!

It's hard to tell what is real and what's fake on Ebay. :P
