Notts have apparently acquired some heat lamps to help the grass grow on the Pavis side of the ground. The lamps were confiscated by police after being used to grow cannabis!

A staff member yesterday on a trolley had 3 bulky, odd looking heaters. Some Preston fans stood near the main gates shouted 'Have you been using them on your pitch' (along the lines) Can't be the heat lamps..

Oh yes, the lights are blinding again.

Apparently they cost us £2,000 , lamps like those normally cost £200,000, they would have been crushed by the police if Notts hadn't rescued them. Great piece of business I wonder who's idea it was.


 


As they were previously used in a cannabis factory, I hope it doesn't mean the club is going to pot. :D


 


The club also agreed to donate two executive boxes to the police for the Chief Constables charity.

i heard this but missed the source. notts had a good idea with this! supposedly the news headline read 'notts grow grass with canabis lamps' or something.

get the pitch in top shape.

I believe it's the evening post mate, the same people who wrote like a 100 articles about Dean Leacock after his winner against Scunthorpe. LOL
