You don't half make things hard @super_ram after much research was it Peter Russell?

Well done @tonyhateley.It was on 5th October 1957,Notts beat Derby 1 -0.The scorer was  Stan Newsham and the attendance was 23,966.Unfortunately Notts ended the season 23rd and were relegated..I don't remember much about the day though.

We'd be happy with half that attendance now. It was a bit before my time I started watching them in the early 60's.
