This looks like an excellent signing and the fact he's going to help with the academy and in other areas too comes as a massive bonus.It's good to see Notts fans happy too.

So... Is Gill going to be playing at right back... or perhaps as a holding midfielder?

In his interview with Magpie Player, he says he came here to play holding midfielder.

No doubt he could fill in at RB if needed. A player of that quality (hopefully) you really need in the centre of the park.
