Selston is having a by election soon so just offering to escort any one on a few canvassing trips over the next few weeks.

@[member="tonyhateley"] that's close to you if you fancy a bit of exercise. We will be out in force from Wednesday onwards door knocking and leafleting etc...

Anyone interested give me a shout!

Excellent Labour candidate for the district council (Donna Gilbert) and Michael Hollis for County.

You won't be surprised to learn that I will be on holiday when that election campaign takes place @[member="hissingdwarf"] I will be on a cruise ship on the way to the canaries stopping off at Vigo, Lisbon and Madeira on the way.

Marginally better than trudging the streets of Selston I think you'll agree.

You're right @[member="tonyhateley"]. I'm not surprised! :)

I think we have come to learn that @[member="tonyhateley"] is always on holiday but good on him! I wished I could - wanna swop for a few weeks buddy?

I am looking forward to pounding the streets to promote the two candidates for the by-election, as a favour, i'll swap with you @[member="tonyhateley"] if you insist. Now where are my cases and sunglasses (and the sea-sickness tablets!)?

I might be able to smuggle you in and you could hide in a lifeboat or something, I'll throw you a few scraps of food when the captains not looking.

Hmm, now let me think which is better, a two week cruise to the Canaries in a mini suite on a beautiful cruise ship or pounding the streets of Selston trying to get the great unwashed to vote labour.

Its a tough one I must admit.

:) it might raise the number of posts today @[member="tonyhateley"] though it was tonque in cheek I meant to highlight ''Hollis for County" when I quoted @[member="hissingdwarf"]

I've edited it and put "Hollis for County" in a nice blue colour in case anyone else misses the joke.

Pounding the streets would give you a nice glow of moral well-being. Now you'll just feel guilty on your cruise, while I just feel jealous. Have a good time.

I can officially confirm no nice glow of moral well being! Just knackered and sore feet after two sessions today! Only 3 tomorrow and two Friday left before the next weeks schedule kicks in!

On the upside my phone was mightily impressed! Apparently today has been my most active since.....May 7th on General Election Day! Most amount of steps covered today since then as well!
