I 've just read an article by CK on 'This is Nottingham' regarding the budget cuts and his intentions and there's  a comment from a Weymouthpie. Is this you James and if so you stand out a mile as the only sensible person commenting. I hope it is 'our' Weymouthpie as it demonstrates what we are all about. Sanity amongst all the namecalling and drivel. :)

It will be our Weymouthpie. :D

I'm not really keen on the site, though I try to add my two cents worth as they spin so many poorly written stories. Since I have been, I have noticed how James also tries to reflect the real fans thoughts. It's quite a joke, especially some of what is said.

It's just the same on Derby's eqivalent site.I go there to see if there is any new news and  read the comments,  mostly for a laugh. Some of the comments are so stupid and then of course there are the florist idiots winding Rams fans up and vice versa.

I'm all for a bit of banter but some comments go way beyond accepted boundaries. I sometimes wonder which team  these posters actually support.

Even the well balanced, thoughtful posts get ridiculous replies.

It's so much nicer on here where all members can air their views without fear of ridicule or abuse, whoever we support. :cheer:

deffo, i dont think people are looking to score points over others! shame really. i hope mrs t likes pon

Some sites are horrible for this reason, always a good to be polite but open. If somebody does say something you dislike, ignore it, move on!

It is possible to respond to a comment without becoming offensive and abusive. If opinions are too different, agree to disagree  and as you say,  SteveMUP,  best to ignore and move on.

Literally, sometimes you can't win. I tend to respond myself, as I don't rise to the bate often enough but I do tend to think of passing it off. I just don't like others having the last word, especially when they're in the wrong. I think Steve is right though :)

I don't think being offensive on sites or arguing really looks good for the people doing it or the site its on. I would just ignore it myself as theres no need to moan and argue about things... I hope it is Weymouthpie
