One from my younger days that most on here won't remember, although @super_ramwill remember well is Willie Carlin.

A great little midfield player who played for Carlisle 1964-68 making 93 appearances and scoring 21 goals. He played for Notts 1971-1974 making 60 appearances and scoring two goals under the great Jimmy Sirrell.

Signed for us at the end of August 1968 .What a great little player,only about 5ft 5inch tall, but he was the final piece in Clough senior's promotion side.Ah,wonderful memories.
