May mean that American and Danish interests have ended?

I have no idea on what the actual meaning of this is, why put a players agent in charge of selling the club? This could go on for months, so why not just sell to Hardy and have done with it?

I think what this does prove is that there is not the number of "financially effective" buyers, that some Supporters think are out there. Maybe the agent has been tasked to find other potential buyers.

Speculation.

Mr Trew's busy, he's taken a back seat with regards to the sale - I don't think it means much. Re: the rumoured buyers, I don't believe it. If you have money and looking to invest, make yourself known and I also think serious money by now would have started to filter out into the grapevine - which it hasn't. It's all surrounding Alan Hardy at this stage which makes me inclined to believe the American, Danish and Chinese are all just hearsay/fiction.

Next we will be linked with a billionaire from India who wants to really sign David Beckham.

A field where dreams become reality.

Just wait and see ,no point in speculating no one knows anything apart from the parties involved ,let's just hope it's a good outcome!

Torquay Utd sale looks like it is "in an advanced stage of takeover" according to the beeb.......it would be nice to know what ££££s are being discussed, albeit for a Conference side?

ps just noticed this snippet in the article............new job for JF as bus driver?

Torquay's financial problems have been well-documented this season, with the club closing its youth academy, manager Kevin Nicholson claiming that some of his players were contracts that were worth "less than the minimum wage" and the Gulls boss having to double-up as the team's bus driver.

Just reading the rag re the purported takeover across the river...." ....... it is the history of the British game that has attracted his attention."

Well if that is his criteria, he is looking at the wrong club :D   50 million would do us nicely and he could have 100 per cent control and not 80
