Smithy his done alright up top, definitely given their centre halves a game, problem will be after he is shattered after 20 minutes of the 2nd half.

Playing better and some nice stuff after a pretty disastrous first 15 minutes!

Watch us capitulate now I've said that....

We were crap once again, noble throws his toys out of the pram when he doesn't feel special, but we actually played better with 10 men...

I wasn't impressed by Cambridge but they deserved the win, Notts just wasn't in the game - not even when we scored.

Their first goal, disbelief. How could Loach make that mistake? Well, I think he's struggling with confidence. He looked nervous throughout and I thought he was quite poor today but so was a lot of the squad.

Noble's sending off was daft, never a red but I fear its goodbye from him.

The sad thing is we never seemed to know how best to play the ball, nor how to use it to create anything. Cooper's changes gave us something different but because everyone was underperforming - it made it harder for Sarpong and Gibson.

I felt sorry for them in truth, to which I'm pleased now Mark Cooper didn't start them.

Its not fair to them, it really isn't.

What was your view of the Noble incident joe, because it must have been very different to mine?  Please watch it on the highlights and see if it changes your mind.  The ball was nowhere near, the Cambridge player was away, so Noble deliberately kicked him.  Deliberately kicking an opponent is a red card offence.  The ref had a very easy decision to make and he got it spot on.  You will struggle to find a more blatant red card offence anywhere.

It was a straight red all day. How many chances has Noble had? Yes it was a nothing game really, apart from trying to restore some confidence into the team, but what if we had been staring the Conference in the face and he had done the same thing? He's a liability.

@notts-joe Sorry Joe, If you think that wasn't a red card then I'd maybe swap ML for the WWE......silly kick out and a straight red every day of the week

It looked more like a deliberate trip to me, I suppose only the highlights will confirm it out not (either that or specsavers)

-edit-

Oooooooo, he did kick out. That certainly is a red!

My view certainly didn't make it seem like he lost his temper originally but the highlights, well, erm, highlight it better.

Loach has apologised for the first goal on twitter but it was just a stupid mistake, he doesn't look confident at all but he tried his best, the second goal wasn't really his fault either
