Match Discussion: Game 15 - Luton (H)

A play-off clash, if you can call it that this early in the season.

Alan Sheehan returns, and had a few nice words to say about his time with us:

It's nice that he won't celebrate if he scores, though I'd rather you do us another favour Sheez and don't score at all, unless it's in your own net.

Haha... The production budget at Luton must be shocking or they have no idea. It looks like they recorded it in a bedroom and the interviewer is awful, at least Sheehan does a good job. Ooo, let's turn the camera when someone messes about near a door.

Notts need to go into this wanting to get 3 points, I'm very sceptical of the performance but we will see.

A field where dreams become reality.

Let's hope the home form and results turn a corner tomorrow , it is a tough game for sure , but so was Portsmouth , come on you Pies bring that form to the Lane and we'll have another 3 points

:hyper:

This fixture last year was a cracking game, I'm looking forward to the match tomorrow, I think that the Portsmouth game will have done wonders for some players confidence.

Notts just need to show some courage and not let heads drop if mistakes are made. Campbell won't score with every shot, nor Hollis make every pass a pinpoint one, but if they play positively I'll shout encouragement for 90 minutes.

I can't make this one, so it is a cast iron home win for a change!
Hoping that our added mobility of Collins and Campbell will pay dividends., because with a bit more pace in the side I can see us causing their back line some problems. We all know that Sheez used to struggle a bit against pace, so we need to get the ball down and play it into feet, no use pumping it long with those two up front.

It would be good to see Collins and Campbell (or Snijders) running at the defence, Notts have been too cautious at Meadow Lane so far this season. @fozzy if you are missing this one hopefully its the start of a winning run!
