Farce of England match coverage

Featured Replies

While at the doctors today while watching the news I was aware that the england match at the weekend is only being shown online. What really annoys me is that they expect you to pay nearly £5 to watch it online. And what are the problems with being online.....

1) what if the internet crashes?

2) what about low bandwidth?

3) what if the computer crashes?

4 ) plus lower definition on a computer!

All in all its a mega stupid idea in my opinion, which has highly annoyed me!

Just another example of money grabbing in sport.OK ,all sporting organisations will try to maximise their financial potential but I believe certain sports events should be made available to as wide an audience as possible & at a reasonable price.

Our national side isn't worth watching at best of times, never mind paying for the pleasure! I admire those who buy tickets to see the game because I know if I did, well I would expect to see our team at least perform like one.

Watch the game online?

That's nonsense! It's much harder to stream a match from your telly, making people pay will just attract attention of pirates and with it being online it'll be much more accessible.
