I installed in late on yesterday, but I'm eager to wait to fully use it when the 'No Scripts' extension is released for it.

However, it's much faster and I like the changes Mozilla have implemented. It's very clean and stylish, plus I actually agree that it makes Chrome seems basic now. The battle of the web browser is going to return, though on my laptops I only ever use Firefox anyway - I don't trust Google as much due to privacy concerns surrounding Chrome. It's going to be funny watching people jump ship again and say how loyal they're to Firefox.

If you've ever visited any kind of tech community, these discussions can get quite lively and amusing.

But yeah, Firefox is back in the driving seat but really - it was never that slow in the first place.

i bought myself a laptop, i still prefer my samsung tablet but i do like the new version of firefox.

i cant say i noticed any difference but i am fairly new to it. i did think it was worth posting here tho.

I updated Firefox today, there is a noticeable difference with the loading times for sure.

They have done a good job competing with Chrome and Microsoft's Edge.

Downloaded it, but probably still using Chrome more (and Safari on a tablet) to be honest. At the end of the day, a browser is just a browser and it is only really as good as your internet connection.

Having said that, I don't use IE anymore as I'm finding it increasingly flakey and most school software providers I come across now seem to want their users to run Chrome.

Edge is just outright awful.

I was surprised that they managed to get it faster than I.E but its a good thing that browsers aren't accepting the basic tab. If they did, we'd be stuck and without flexibility - so any sort of software that pushes boundaries is generally a good thing due to the improvements they make.
