Jack Grealish

I watched the playoff game yesterday between Villa and Fulham and I’ve got to say I felt very sorry for our Jack, he was obviously targeted as a danger man and had to suffer some crunching tackles, including what looked like a deliberate stamp on his thigh right in front of the dug out and fourth official, definitely a sending off offence but no action taken.

There is no doubt he will play in the premiership one day but it wasn’t to be this time.

I think we’ve probably seen the last game in the Villa top for Jack. He is too good for them and could and needs to move up to the Premiership. Shame Villa couldn’t do it, but Fulham were very good to watch and countered all threats well. Grealish is a quality player who deserves the bigger stage.

I have to agree @Fan of Big Tone and @hissingdwarf I don’t think he will be with Villa next year I think that he will be in the premiership what team I’m not sure. He played really well yesterday and deserved to get something out of the game only time will tell where he will be.

He won' t go too big too quickly imo. Somewhere like Everton or Southampton will suit him. Even Newcastle.

Oh yes Newcastle, it’d be good to see him in black and white stripes again.

Newcastle could be a great fit for him if Rafa stays though cause he is the one keeping up Newcastle. His pace would fit in well with Newcastle and desire.

@Fan of Big Tone @hissingdwarf What about wolves I think maybe there.

I think Wolves might be a gamble for him, especially after playing for Villa. He needs to be away from the Midlands to move onto the next stage of his career. He would also benefit from not being in a relegation scrap!

That’s a good point .. staying in the midlands maynot be a good idea or a relegation fight .. well he can always to Notts for a loan season ????

Jack doesn't mind rough tackles, he thrives on this type of attention and he just gets on with things. His dad Kevin mentioned to me awhile back that the young Grealish wouldn't leave Villa unless the club sold him.

He's content playing for them, yet I think if he did leave - he should join a squad like West Ham or Everton.
