25/3/18 completed 51yrs of suffering/supporting Notts County. Ipcress File's Palmer bests sums it up "must we sit through any more of this torture?"

Since I was 5-years-old, yet I class myself a Notts fan from birth due to my mum/grandfather.

There must have been something preventing me from supporting Derby County, even though they are the Championship and have probably better times than us - I still wouldn't switch.

Thank god you didn't choose to support that other Nottingham lot

I attended my first Rams game in 1956.There was very little football on the telly back then ,just the FA cup final and occasional England games.

The process by which Notts became my second team began in 1964 with my boss at work and developed slowly but was also helped by my Father in Law and @GrannyPie

They say you never forget your first game ????????????????

Over 40 years easy, I will be coming over after the New Year and this will be my first game live since 1988.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
