It was good to see that the players made an appearance in the MLSB after Saturday's match, I think this is a brilliant idea and credit to the club for arranging it. It fosters a bond between the players and the supporters which is good. Gone are the days when the players used to catch the same bus home as the fans and mix with them, so anything like this really helps.

 

I also liked Martin Allen's ideas, he had the players who weren't in the squad sit with the fans and also in the warm up they would go over and applaud the fans before the game plus lots of birthday visits to young fans, we need more of that sort of thing too.

 

Was anyone in the MLSB after the match?

I went to the navi, it's a shame because it's usually the MLSB we go to after games. I'm not a fan of big crowds, although I can manage - It seems busier after games on big days, especially when kick off was 3pm. Sounds like I missed something!

Did you get any photos with the players and George?

Certainly is good thing! Great sign of unity between fan(s) and player(s). I noticed a friend on FB a moment ago, she had her photo taken with Bart. He's a popular fella

No I didn't go in, I just wondered if anyone else did because I saw on the FB page some pictures.

i very rarely go into the mlsb, its far to busy for me. i would break this tho, thats if its ever repeated. i guess i will have to find out, as i plan to make the next home game!
