Greater control of the spending should lead to better control of the players on the pitch and make Notts work harder to keep up with the bigger spenders. It is amazing how well we are doing, even if we are poor right now when it matters.

This is brilliant and true. I do wonder if they have a moaners edition where winning feels almost the same as losing.

The stewards are usually fine, but the turnstile staff can be rude and very disrespectful. I am short for my age, and when I was younger they sometimes tried to force me to prove my age. It felt intimidating having someone push me like that. I often did not know how to react, and it left me feeling uncomfortable.

Makes sense. Harrogate showed how fragile we can be when we carry the weight of expectation.

Rod McDonald is solid at the back. He’s found his space and made it his own. I can't see how he can be dropped when he's playing this well. He’s one of the first names I’d put on the team sheet.

I’m starting to think about what I want to do after school finishes this year. I’m not sure if I want to go to college or try to get an internship. Both have their good points, but I’m leaning more towards getting straight into work and learning on the job. If anyone has any advice, I’d be glad to hear it.
