  1. He is very ball greedy and frustrating. He put in one of their better performances in the play‑off final against us last season, but I still think he is not the type we need.
  2. I am working on a project, but I am using the computer at college to browse up on Notts. I would have liked to go to the game tonight, but the late kick‑off puts it out of reach even though it’s close enough in distance.
  3. Good away day at Donny. It’s just a shame it’s a late kick‑off, but I’m confident even with the injuries Martin Paterson has to deal with. I think it makes us stronger as a team, more determined to work together and get over the line at the end of the game.
  4. The bit about everyone leaning forward when Cal gets the ball really sums him up. You never quite know what he is going to try, and that is part of the fun.
  5. Greater control of the spending should lead to better control of the players on the pitch and make Notts work harder to keep up with the bigger spenders. It is amazing how well we are doing, even if we are poor right now when it matters.
  6. This is brilliant and true. I do wonder if they have a moaners edition where winning feels almost the same as losing.
  7. The stewards are usually fine, but the turnstile staff can be rude and very disrespectful. I am short for my age, and when I was younger they sometimes tried to force me to prove my age. It felt intimidating having someone push me like that. I often did not know how to react, and it left me feeling uncomfortable.
  8. Makes sense. Harrogate showed how fragile we can be when we carry the weight of expectation.
  9. Burton Albion 1-1 Blackpool Luton Town 3-1 Rotherham United Accrington Stanley 1-0 Bristol Rovers Joker Cambridge United 1-1 Barnet Grimsby Town 2-0 Chesterfield Braintree Town 1-1 Truro City Hartlepool United 0-0 Wealdstone Woking 1-1 Boston United
  10. Stoke City 1-0 Coventry City Wrexham 3-1 Charlton Athletic Doncaster Rovers 0-0 Barnsley Exeter City 2-2 Wigan Athletic Bristol Rovers 0-2 Gillingham Joker Harrogate Town 2-1 Oldham Athletic Morecambe 1-1 Sutton United Truro City 0-2 Altrincham
  11. Birmingham City 1-0 Hull City West Bromwich Albion 2-1 Preston North End Joker Blackpool 1-0 Wycombe Wanderers Doncaster Rovers 2-0 Northampton Town Grimsby Town 1-0 Gillingham Newport County 2-1 Cheltenham Town Altrincham 2-1 Woking Brackley Town 0-0 Gateshead
  12. Burton Albion 0-1 Bolton Wanderers Exeter City 1-1 Reading Leyton Orient 2-1 Doncaster Rovers Wigan Athletic 1-1 Wycombe Wanderers Chesterfield 2-1 Salford City Joker Crewe Alexandra 2-0 Bromley Fleetwood Town 1-0 Harrogate Town Tranmere Rovers 2-1 Barnet
  13. Eleven new players take time to gel. The coach reshaped the midfield and the system to suit them, and you can see the style becoming clearer.
