  1. I don’t think it sounds as bad as people are thinking. The club is probably just assessing things and seeing how Cedwyn Scott recovers. The scan would have shown significant damage if there was any, and that would allow for greater expectations on how long he would be out. It sounds like it’s not so serious but could be a difficult one to recover from.
  2. Interesting photo, I can’t say I know more than half of the players and even then I would struggle. Brad, Stubbs, Hateley are easy ones.
  3. Hello, @zaradek. Just another welcome from me. Enjoy PON!

  7. Hello, @Gary Adamson. Just another welcome from me. Enjoy PON!
  8. Connell Rawlinson's goal, now that's determination and instinct. Shows what the Notts are capable of when underestimated.
  9. It's a pleasure to witness the journey of Notts through your lens, @Chris. The Faces of PON gallery is more than a collection of photos, it's a treasure trove of experiences. We share the joy, the thrill, the hope and even the disappointment. Keep smiling, keep shooting, keep inspiring!
  10. Even with TEN men on the field, we battled and held our ground. Great resilience, Notts!
  11. If we are creating chances to win games, then we must be performing well, and that should dispel any doubts. I understand that mistakes happen; everyone makes them. If this group of players did not make mistakes, I am sure some of them would be playing at a higher level. However, as Luke Williams says, coaching the mistakes out of them is the way forward. It will help make games more manageable, so if we encounter a tight game where a goal could make all the difference, being defensively solid would favour us in getting the points.
  12. Morecambe started to look like they were adapting to football, but their owner dropped the ball, and now they are where they are. I like their manager; I think he carries the club, and I hope for his sake that they can overcome the potential deduction.
  13. I am aware that Southend is in a mess, and there were comments last season about them needing to sell players. I do not like seeing any team struggle, but that is the extent of my knowledge. I do not know much about their owner or why he has decided to stop investing in the club. He should, at the very least, pay the bills and wages.
  14. It is debatable whether the EFL should grant the goal. I am sure there will be other goals that will not be credited to others, and that could be inconsistent. It is up to the EFL to decide; we accept it, and I am happy for Jodi. I just wonder what would happen if another player’s goal is denied, and it is more deserving
  15. Hello @Sir Magpie, I like your display picture. I have seen the gentleman magpie in my grandfathers collection. Welcome from me too.
  16. Welcome @NorthPie, you around the site.
  17. Some of our fans have been saying that we only beat Doncaster Rovers because they were so poor. Surely, they didn’t go to the match? We may have had a bit of luck at times, but the referee seemed to be on their side. So, Notts still had a lot to do. It was a confident performance in the second half. Even if we didn’t take our feet off the gas, someone out there would complain.
  18. Two of the best things so far are this extension and the goals Langstaff scored against Doncaster Rovers. I never doubted his quality and hope he scores on Saturday to heighten the impact of the good feel factor our club has.
  19. It was never a concern, those on social media calling him are the usual suspects and it is not believed that many of them even attend games. Langstaff has goals in him, he possesses that striker's instinct to put the ball away and he almost turned nothing into something when he got onto the ball which could have seen him score a third. He thrives on chances, so undoubtedly when he gets more, plenty of other goals will come his way.
  20. We've got this! It's like being at home with all our constantly signing, it's for Notts to use this as fuel to perform well.
  21. A player's return to an old team can stir a cocktail of emotions. In this case, however, it seems nothing but respect and professionalism on Bostock's part. It's fascinating and inspiring to see his commitment to Notts County.
  22. Grimsby Town started the game brightly, but for a spell Notts looked quite comfortable until they took the lead in the 17th minute. John Bostock leveller was brilliant, as was Jodi Jones' trouble cross. The winning goal, I can still feel the stands being sent into raptures. Great win!
  23. I thought he was going to leave. If he had, I wouldn’t have been angry with his decision. However, I am pleased to see that he has decided to stay. He’s a good player and his renewal means we are even stronger now.
  24. I’m sceptical about this. I don’t think it will happen. It doesn’t make sense for it to be a permanent deal. Are they really willing to pay for him? It makes even less sense for us to loan him to them. He won’t gain experience useful at our level. I just don’t see it happening.
  25. Chrome is just very common and always present. Microsoft messed up Windows Explorer. They waited too long to modernise it. Firefox is okay, but I think most people who use it do so because they don’t want Google to have their data.
