Matt Palmer: Derby Day Will Be Tough, but Notts County Are Ready for the Challenge
All Notts can do is stay focused, work hard, and keep their heads down. No matter the result, we are a stronger team now and have settled into the season. Some fans might not be keen on Matt Palmer as captain because he's more reserved, but I believe he's just as good as anyone else. From what he says, I think this is exactly why he's our captain, bhe's a true professional who always gives his best.

Things lurking in the loft
I donβt have anything specific in mind, but my parents might. My father, whoβs in his 80s, is a bit of a hoarder. Because of his age, he hasnβt watched Notts since 2015. Iβd be amazed to see whatβs up there.

Can Notts Reverse The Poor Results Against Top 7 Sides?
Notts donβt need to worry. The club will be promoted when itβs the right time, and itβs more important to be patient. I might be in the minority, but the results will only come if weβre good enough. Iβm happy to watch how the season unfolds. Getting into the playoffs would be great, and promotion through the automatic spots would be a dream. But thereβs still a lot of football left to play.

Puskas winner
What a brilliant goal! An overhead kick is a wonderful way to score.

Ice & Snow To Hit The UK.
The forecast is usually never right. We were supposed to have a mega storm over Christmas, but we never had any snow. I know some got a very light covering, but I don't think we'll be affected by this. Usually when the bad weather is coming in, we are alerted at work and have to make arrangements to be mindful of the campus and grounds.

Congratulations to Josie Knight for winning gold. I can't say I've paid much attention, but seeing our own do well is a nice thing.

Whatβs your favourite quiz show?
Classic "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is my favourite. I prefer game shows over quiz-based ones; I can't stand "The Chase." The Chasers may have become less direct and more focused on themselves. It just doesn't appeal to me and reminds me of "Eggheads," which was a good show, but with people you can't stand.

Fulham Goalkeeper Luca Ashby-Hammond Joins Notts On Loan.
I don't think Jim will be the person to drop Aidan Stone for a loanee. I also believe that when we hire a manager, he will value experience and probably try to bring Sam Slocombe back into the fold more. I doubt he will be given the chance to sign a better replacement, and I think this lad and Tiernan Brooks are far from being ready to start regularly. It's a bit of a lacklustre signing.

New manager
I don't think they will appoint someone who has never taken charge of a professional club. If they do, then he must have something about him, but I think you need to have some experience if we are to try to climb the leagues. We won't go up with a manager who is always picking up new things. Luke Williams and Ian Burchnall each had something about them before arriving. I will support whoever comes in, but I think it's a mistake to believe that someone who has never been in charge of a club at a professional level can match our current growth.

Sven Goran-Eriksson, Cancer Diagnosis.
Sven played a part in encouraging the Pride of Nottingham? What a man. He wasn't treated very well when he took charge of England, but my respect was earned for all he did for Notts. I found the news to be very sad, but at least he has spoken confidently and has said he will live every day to the fullest. I wish him well, despite the awful news.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Gills (A)
I have reservations about the situation, as it may not be straightforward for some supporters to travel. The area is experiencing significant flooding, which could potentially result in the cancellation of the game. Nevertheless, I remain hopeful that the match will proceed as planned and that the pitch will be in a suitable condition for play. I believe we should anticipate a strong reaction from the players. Gillingham, our opponents, pose a formidable challenge, but if we can maintain a solid defensive performance, we should have the opportunity to capitalise on our chances and achieve a positive outcome.

Scunthorpe Utd worrying times
Situations like this are never positive. Scunthorpe seemed to be recruiting well, and this appears to be a desperate attempt to pull off a miracle. Their chairman reminds me of Alan Hardy in some ways. I hope they regain their ground and get the club back on track in due course.

Where are they now : Mawouna Amevor
To be honest, I never thought highly of him. I assumed he would have retired by now. Among all the players Ricardo Moniz brought to the club, I believe this was one of the worst. I donβt remember all of his 11 games, but I do recall thinking he was dreadful.
