  1. If they were to lose 141 points, they might as well be relegated. There’s no point in docking such a large amount from which there’s no recovery.
  2. Some Notts fans could grumble about anything, especially when they lack understanding of the subject. It can be perplexing, but learning about the history is fascinating.
  3. I fully support giving Tiernan Brooks a chance, but fans must remember that everyone makes mistakes and no goalkeeper does so intentionally. If things don’t go as planned, there’s no reason why fans can’t accept the return of Aidan Stone or Sam Slocombe. We might just need to concentrate on improving our defence.
  4. They don’t necessarily have to be identical twins, you never can tell.
  5. I'm really excited about the potential new additions in the January transfer window. It gives an opportunity to plug any detected shortcomings.
  6. Cameron's frankness is appreciated. Football indeed isn't predictable, and every match is a unique challenge. Looking forward to the Walsall game!
  7. Intriguing matchup! Excited to see how the team shapes up against Walsall. Notts County has shown their strong in previous games, and I'm hoping they keep the energy alive in this one as well. Victory is in sight, lads.
  8. I’m optimistic for a well-rounded performance. I’d be disappointed if Walsall didn’t engage in the game. They’ll likely feel the pressure to adapt their gameplay. I don’t think they’ll assume we’ll dominate possession. They might aim to slow the game down and launch quick attacks when the game opens up. Above all, I’m hoping for an entertaining match. That’s the main reason for watching, a win would just be a bonus.
  9. I’m also hoping that we can reach the 3rd round, what are the odds that another home tie will follow if we do? We just need to stick to our usual game, and if we struggle, Notts just needs to play a bit more cautiously. It should be a cracking game, and I’m really looking forward to it. I reckon Shrewsbury Town will find us a completely different team at home.
  10. Crawley Town seemed really prepared for the game, pursuing and shutting down everything. They put in a lot of effort to create opportunities and could be seen as unlucky. Adam Campbell’s strike was very well aimed. David McGoldrick’s strike was also impressive, he was at the heart of most of our best play in the first half. By the second half, our team had really come to life, and the substitutions added an extra spark. I thought we turned the game around brilliantly and could have won by more than a 2 goal lead. A 3-1 win overall seemed quite fair.
  11. Absolutely electric! Notts County's energy was entertaining to watch. Pleased with the team and looking forward to more of such performances!
  12. I can't wait for the match later on! Notts County has been in amazing form this season. Despite Jodi Jones's absence, I'm confident we've got the depth to cover it.
  13. Bostock’s acknowledgement of the rehabilitation team’s support highlights the crucial behind-the-scenes work that aids players in returning stronger. His high regard for Notts County’s leadership and team spirit says a lot about the club’s atmosphere and goals. These character-driven insights make supporting this club a rewarding experience.
  14. The fans forum aptly showcases how deeply embedded the fans are at the heart of Notts County. Whether it's about ticketing intricacies or improvements on home ground, it's a relief knowing that everything is being addressed sincerely. Also, kudos to the team for not hesitating to address even the tough questions. This candidness is much appreciated.
  15. The match was stellar! Dan's first-half play is why some of us regard him as the stalwart of Notts County. His emphasis on introspection and improvement, not just celebration, speaks volumes to me. His attitude makes me optimistic about future games. Yes, there is room for improvement, particularly in the second half, and it's heartening to hear him acknowledge that. Keep going Notts!
  16. It’s genuinely good to see Williams facing up to the challenges that cropped up in the second half. This honest recognition is the very first step on the path to betterment. It shows a real commitment to being open and ready to change and grow. It’s a hopeful sign of Williams’ dedication to moving forward and a positive omen for what’s to come.
  17. Williams's candour in accepting the team's defensive dilemma provides a realistic view of what the team is up against. His belief in their capabilities is evident despite the setbacks, which is truly inspiring. It's refreshing to see that though the team is facing challenges, they are steadfast in their pursuit of better performance. As fans, it is this determination that we support, win or lose.
  18. Given Notts' consistent dominance in possession, it would be fascinating to see how Gillingham adjusts their strategy. Especially when this game bears immense significance for Notts County, I believe this test against Gillingham’s resilient squad, despite missing key players, would be extremely intriguing. Excited!
  19. Sam Austin is a true embodiment of what it means to be a part of Notts. He exemplifies the grit, resolve, and spirit of teamwork that are the hallmarks of our club. His never-say-die attitude is a testament to his character and a source of inspiration for all budding footballers. His triumphant return to League Two is a story of perseverance that resonates with everyone who dreams of playing football at this level.
  20. Powerful runs and decisive finishes are crucial when facing robust midfield teams. The ability to penetrate the defence with speed and precision can often be the difference between a win and a loss. A fast-paced game not only tests the physicality of the players but also their mental agility. It’s this combination of speed and strategy that can turn the tide in our favour. The anticipation for matchday is palpable, and the hope is that our team will rise to the occasion. The prospect of Macaulay Langstaff finding the back of the net certainly adds an exciting dimension to the game. His scoring prowess could provide the impetus we need to secure a victory. However, it’s equally important to remember that Notts boasts a squad with goalscoring potential across the board. This depth and diversity in attacking options could prove pivotal in a tightly contested match. It’s this collective strength that could ultimately see us emerge victorious on matchday.
  21. Hoping that Notts can extend their winning streak to six matches, it would be a significant accomplishment and would greatly enhance our position. We’re also relying on favourable outcomes in some of the other matches!
  22. Jodi Jones is proving to be a remarkable asset to both Notts County and his national team. His exceptional skills and consistent performance have been pivotal in many of both teams recent successes. Jones, has shown tremendous versatility and adaptability on the pitch. His ability to read the game, combined with his speed and agility, makes him a formidable opponent. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time, often making decisive contributions that change the course of the match.
  23. If we create opportunities, I’m sure the game will be entertaining. So far, we’ve managed to avoid any disappointments from the officials. I don’t want to jinx it, but I hope we can secure a solid victory. Let’s hope for no unnecessary yellow cards and definitely no red cards for Notts.
  24. Neil Warnock is indeed a remarkable man. His decision to come out of retirement to assist Huddersfield demonstrates his character. Without him, they might have been in trouble. As for Darren Moore, he might end up regretting his decision to leave Sheffield Wednesday.
  25. Hello, @Ryan Raynor. Welcome to the community here on PON.
