  1. I hope this game proves that Notts are now established as a League Two team. Accrington Stanley will be intense in their play and approach the game wanting to get the win. I don’t foresee them sitting back. They should get stuck in and I am looking forward to another Saturday at Meadow Lane. It should be a very good game, I agree.
  2. Hello, welcome to the PON site @Gary Adamson. What era did you start supporting Notts?
  3. Hello, welcome to the community @Andrew Edwards. What brought you to the site?
  4. Rawlinson encapsulates this essence with his decisive goal, his commendation of the coaching staff, and his nod to the fans. This match underscored the mettle of Notts County, their grit and determination to make it through challenging matches, one game at a time.
  5. Good luck to Southend; it’s not an easy situation, but I do hope it can be overcome. With the right owner, they should be able to kick on, but it’s finding that person.
  6. I think the football is better in League Two; you can see the quality in terms of step up. I did prefer the National League for the fact that teams tried a bit more than what I have seen. Even weak teams had performed better than Doncaster and Tranmere.
  7. Mike Dean is an idiot. I have watched a couple of interviews with him, where he just becomes argumentative or defensive. If he’s acknowledging the mistake, he doesn’t need to. Yet he shouldn’t act like he thinks he’s smart, having blurted this out during a podcast. He’s not newsworthy, he’s not a celebrity. He’s a former referee that officiated in the Premier League and tried to make games all about himself.
  8. I don’t know what caused it, I’m not sure what the injury could be or how it happened. He just seemed to go down, although I hope Cedwyn is okay. All the best.
  9. It’s horrible to see this becoming a common occurrence instead of a rare thing. I hope Morecambe overcomes the issues. They have a decent ground for this level and have earned their status in the Football League. It would be a shame to see a stubborn owner undo all this, especially one so young and clueless.
  10. Massively impressed with Bostock. Incredible game management.
  11. Expecting a thrilling game. Notts County's victory over Doncaster Rovers was impressive, especially given their initial loss to Sutton United. Here’s wishing they keep up that momentum.
  12. Coventry City 0-0 Sunderland Millwall 0-2 Stoke City Exeter City 0-1 Reading Lincoln City 1-1 Blackpool Bradford City 2-0 Crewe Alexandra Joker Walsall 1-2 Grimsby Town Boreham Wood 2-0 Oldham Athletic Ebbsfleet United 1-1 Kidderminster Harriers
  13. As someone who frequently watches highlights from other clubs, I feel confident in saying that Notts are incredibly fortunate to have had such great coverage of their games. Some commentators sound uninterested, boring, or are so biased that you wonder why they are even providing commentary. The current two commentators, however, I quite like. After having Colin Slater and more recently Charlie Slater, it is nice to have two people to listen to during the coverage. I just don’t think Ian Richardson provided very good support during the Doncaster game.
  14. Brindley is reinforcing the sense of determination and unity within the team, which is vital for Notts County's success in League Two. Although the change in style from the National League may be challenging, players like Brindley are showing that they can adapt and excel. His positivity regarding his new role in the back three and his commitment to play any position in order to ensure a win for the team is truly commendable. His attitude is precisely the kind that we need in the squad, especially as we strive to make our mark in League Two.
  15. Welcome aboard, @JustLikeJuve! We’re happy to have you here.
  16. Hi there, @Bryn Roberts! Welcome to our community.
  17. Hello and welcome, @NorthPie! We’re excited to have you with us.
  18. A warm welcome to you, @Sir Magpie! We’re glad you’ve joined us.
  19. Welcome! It’s great to have you here, @Kevin May.
  20. Judging from what Luke Williams said, I am not expecting a signing. It’s gone from us needing a signing to “we’ll see,” with more emphasis being put on Ollie Tipton.
  21. It’s good news for Jodi Jones. Some people might not be happy with it, but they can take it up with the EFL.
  22. It all depends on how Tranmere Rovers play. If they continue to perform poorly, it might work to Notts’ advantage, but if they try to make a game of it, it could be more difficult. In that case, I would probably take a draw even though I hope for three points.
  23. While Bajrami's absence might cause some jitters, it's important to remember that every cloud has a silver lining. Tipton may very well seize this moment to prove his worth. Although another addition to the team wouldn't hurt, it's crucial to find the right fit, rather than merely filling in the number.
  24. Watching Notts play with such passion and seeing the palpable bond between the players and fans surely brings a certain kind of joy. This unity, the shared sentiment with every goal scored and every save made, magnifies what it means to be part of this wonderful club. As fans, we feel heard, valued and part of the Notts story.
  25. Not panicking after the first game without a win, that says volumes about our mentality. There's resilience in this team, come what may.
