  5. I’m not very good at writing poems, but I wanted to say how lovely the ones shared here are. I really enjoyed reading them. Well done to the members who can put words together so beautifully. It’s a real skill and I admire it.
  6. @TheSkipper is very close with his predictions. I’m glad MK Dons are struggling, because their way of building a team seems to be spending money on players they think are the best from nearby clubs. It doesn’t look like they do much research into what those players are like or how they’ll fit in. There doesn’t seem to be a proper plan for bringing them together. Gillingham are the best team I’ve seen so far. It’s not just because they beat us 1-0, but also how they’ve played against other teams who look more settled than we do. They seem well organised and confident.

  9. I like how they run the club with patience. It feels stable compared to the chaos we had before. Sometimes it feels too clinical, but we are in a much better place than we were a few years back.

  12. The match showed how clinical Matt Dennis can be, but it also highlighted where we need more composure. We controlled possession for long spells yet didn’t test their keeper often enough. The late goal was unfortunate, but if we had created more in the second half we’d have been out of sight.

  16. I left the match feeling both frustrated and optimistic. Frustrated because we should’ve had it wrapped up early, but optimistic because the shape and structure looked so much better than last season. Iorpenda impressed me again, he’s maturing quickly in midfield. Thought Roos was unlucky on the goal, not much he could’ve done. Loads of room to improve, but if we play like that most weeks we’ll be near the top.
  17. Can’t lie, I was worried when Dizzy and Bass left, but this article helps explain the reasoning behind it. The honesty around Bass’s sale, in particular, is appreciated, they didn’t want to sell, but the timing and offer were right. Kelle Roos looks a good replacement on paper. As for McGoldrick, you just can’t replace that level in League Two, so fair play to them for spreading the load across a few new signings and giving Jodi a more advanced role. Hope it pays off.

  20. Luke Williams was praised for giving a good insight into football. People liked hearing his views on Notts and how he explained things clearly. Martin Paterson seems very focused. He looks like someone who wants to use his experience as a player to help the team do well. He talks a lot about results and performances, which shows he means business. There are plenty of positives to take, but I really hope we can start the season well.
  21. Peter Sellers was a brilliant comedy actor. His films always stood out because they were full of laughs. He inspired many people over the years, and his work still feels fresh today. He’s one of those actors who never goes out of style. There’s nothing rude or offensive in his performances. Even younger viewers can enjoy them because he gets the balance just right.
  22. I wonder if Martin Paterson, being a former striker, wants another forward in the team. There’s definitely space for one more goalscorer. It could be important, especially with Mai Traore not quite at the level we need. I think the club might be preparing him to be the third choice up front. I’m not sure what his best position is. I haven’t seen enough good signs from him yet, and he’ll need more time to settle and adapt.
  23. Jodi Jones's potential move to the attacking centre of the field comes with its set of challenges and opportunities. His previous performances show his capability to tackle players and whip in crosses from the wing. However, the central role will require him to adapt quickly to the fast pace and decision-making needed. The advantage is that he'll be more involved in the heart of the action, which might see him contributing with both assists and goals. The key is finding the right balance so that his natural flair isn’t restricted. This season could redefine his career if he succeeds in making this transition smoothly.
  24. Thought it was a very even game overall. Cardiff were a bit more clinical early on and their first goal was well worked, but we came out second half and showed proper belief. Cotter’s goal was pure class, not just the finish but the way he made the space for himself. The way we bounced back from their second shows great character. You can tell there's a stronger mentality in the squad now. Jatta made an instant impact off the bench. Loved the physical battle in midfield as well, Grant and Palmer both put a shift in. Some rust still there defensively, but much more solid than a few weeks ago. If we tidy up the errors, we’ll be in good shape.
