  1. Delighted with the fightback, fantastic point but HTF did Orient win at Plymouth?? As has been mentioned though, it brings more clubs into the firing line after tonights results. For the record, our (RUFC) season lurches from one disaster to another (lost 3-2 to Huddersfield...93rd minute winner) Minimum 4 points from Orient /Yeovil.....right? COYP
  2. All the very best wishes for tonight, I'm gonna be busy witnessing the Millers ritual humiliation at the hands of Huddersfield at the NYS. #COYP
  3. I was at ML for your party at the last game of the season. You had a bloody good side that year.
  4. Great result v Crawley ,especially with ten men, the recovery starts here.
  5. I would genuinely hate my friends from Notts to suffer the indignity of relegation from the EFL. It would be tragic if we lost the Pies however temporarily. I urge fans to turn up in large numbers to roar Kevin Nolan & his team towards safety.
  6. Good luck to Kevin Nolan & all Pies fans, I genuinely hope things turn around for you. #softspot
  7. Top result Pies
  8. Pies are a lot stronger than last season, & Mansfield are weaker.......2-1 Notts
  9. Millers v Toon blog up now on FM, hope you like

  10. F**king go Pies!! Fantastic result. What are you feeding Stead??? See you guys at NYS next season as we both crash land into L1. #WEREDEFINITELYGOINGDOWN
  11. Yeah, shame that, but I enjoyed yesterday so much I may make another ML trip later in the season.
  12. Rotherham United had no game this weekend due to internationals (don't laugh) so I was looking forward to visiting the magnificent Meadow Lane stadium and two in form clubs, namely Notts County and Grimsby Town. Unfortunately due to my internet being down during the day and me making a snap decision to go, I couldn't meet up with Joe, my site buddy (not ignoring you, honest). With more Millers connections than a lego set (Adam Collin, Scott Loach, Rob Milsom, Michael O'Connor and Jonathan Forte for Notts; Mariners boss Paul Hurst (record RUFC appearances as a player) and ex keeper Andy Warrington on the Grimsby bench) it was a game that I couldn't not go to. The first half belonged to the Mariners - their striker Shaun Tuton had already missed a sitter before they deservedly took the lead through centre-back Shaun Pearson, who headed home unmarked from a set piece and, apart from a couple of Notts half chances which were regulation saves for Mariners keeper James McKeown, held the lead comfortably going into the break. Notts looked more comfortable in the first part of the second half, going close on a couple of occasions, when disaster struck through a woefully short Stanley Aborah backpass which was seized upon by Omar Bogle, the Mariners striker... they were now two goals up. Game over? Err... no!! Notts boss John Sheridan had seen enough and made all three subs immediately. Off came the ineffective Jon Stead, Aborah and Adam Campbell, and in their place came Thierry Audel and recent signings Vadaine Oliver and Aaron Collins. After a relatively quiet 10 minutes Forte reduced the arrears in a goalmouth scramble, then a minute later, the referee spotted a push in the area and there was a chance for Notts to equalise but unfortunately for them, O'Connor could only hit the post with the spot kick. Notts continued to knock at the door and deservedly levelled with a fine finish from debutant Collins and could even have won the game as Oliver had a goalbound header saved but, in my opinion, the draw was about the right result in a pulsating game played in heavy rain for the most part. Great atmosphere in a good League Two crowd of over 6800 with 2300 away fans... Here are some pics... 13. good game & a cracking fightback by Notts
  14. Tonight's gates in full, seven games had less than 1000, join the boycott, this "experiment" cannot succeed!!!!

  16. Hey mate, still not 100% certain of making ML for this weekend, but could I have your mobile no in case I make it this or some other time as I definitely WILL be doing Notts for my FM blog sometime this season.

    Cheers

      Chris

Sorry, I got preoccupied - I'll text you now.

  17. Nice post mate. Looks like you pies are building a very decent squad there, including importantly players like O'Connor & Collin who know what it takes to get out of this division. Notts fans are right to be optimistic (even I'm having a tenner on Notts to get promoted) but realistically play offs as a minimum is definitely achievable with Sheridan in charge. I'll be coming down to ML at some stage in the season as I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last season (v York). All the best guys.
  18. Looking good for Notts ATM, a proper manager in charge, really good signings, dead wood gone, a promotion winning campaign awaits methinks. O'Connor is a proper box to box midfielder who scores goals, essential to any promotion winning side, now get a goalscorer or two & you're sorted.
  19. I think we (RUFC) did the same & voted in favour of the proposals. Don't ever think the "suits" that run football clubs ever have the supporters best interests at heart. #selfinterest
  20. Delighted both for Adam & Notts, Mr Sheridan is definitely going for quality over quantity, I may risk a sneaky tenner on Notts next season.
  21. What with Loach, Milsom, Collin & now hopefully O'Connor, it's getting like Millers old boys, I ought to get a season ticket........lol
  22. ANOTHER ex Miller, good player, goalscoring, box to box central midfielder, also vocal, definite captain material, I'd urge Notts to sign him.
  23. SIGN HIM!!!! As I have posted, if you get him, he'd be a shoe in for the L2 PFA Team of 2016/17!!!!!
  24. Cracking appointment there Notts fans, a manager with a PROVEN record of success. I hope he will be given the time to build success, by that I mean be patient Notts fans, your club has a record of not being, so don't panic if you're not top by the end of August.
