  1. The Hills Have Eyes, Wrong Turn, Reeker, Descent, and Jeepers Creepers are among the best that I last watched. I gave up with the genre when directors started thinking that doors being slammed and weak efforts to scare you were enough. The 80s was the best decade for horror!
  2. I have tried Brave as an alternative to Google’s Chrome, but everything seems to be based on it. Only Firefox is different, and I stopped using it a while ago when viruses started targeting it due to less frequent updates.
  3. I hope he manages to find a club where he can move forward. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just wants some free time. It’s a very demanding role and it makes sense for him to ask for his contract to be mutually terminated for this reason. I’m not sure why he would do it if he intended to go straight to a different club.
  4. I recognise his face from games. It’s a good story and very interesting to see that he found his wife at a Notts game. That might be rarer than some fans think, but it’s a nice touch to this story.
  5. Black and white are traditional colours that have been used in sports kits for many years. However, these colours do not have to be boring. In fact, it is high time that we showed the world what can be achieved with these traditional colours. There are many ways to make black and white kits more interesting and eye-catching. For example, different patterns and designs can be used to create a unique and stylish look. By experimenting with different styles and combinations, we can create black and white kits that are anything but boring.
  6. It's always a pleasure to listen to Shaun Derry speak about his time at Notts County. I think he's spot on when he talks about how Jack Grealish was destined for greatness.
  7. I think Australia will win the Ashes; they seem to have the better team all round. With their batters and bowlers, it’s hard to see one or two good England players overturning what is a pretty weaker team.
  8. South America will be my destination next month, either Peru or Brazil. I haven’t decided yet, but both have caught my eye. Machu Picchu and Cusco are two potential places I would like to see. Parque Ibirapuera is the location in Brazil I’m debating, but I think it might be worth visiting in the future.
  9. He sounds like he has a good background and is at the right age to be emotionally ready for first-team football. I hope he has the attitude to bounce back from setbacks, unlike what we saw with Ross Fitzsimons. He will have to compete with Tiernan Brooks and Sam Slocombe for a starting spot.
  10. I've heard good things about the new goalkeeper signing. It's always nice to have some healthy competition in the squad, but I do hope Tiernan Brooks gets a chance to prove himself and gain some experience.
  11. I like the draw and I don’t understand why some fans would be against it. If anyone reads this and feels disappointed, please be assured that if you share your reasons here, you will be respected. However, if you do feel this way, make sure those reasons aren’t just frustration or a complaint for the sake of it. Lincoln City is a very nice draw after all the poor games we tend to get.
  12. Charlie, sit properly when you’re interviewing someone; don’t sit all smug with your foot under yourself. It’s a good interview, but Slater is like a chalkboard to me.
  13. Is that all? £12.50? Don’t buy a programme and you’ve already saved half of that.
  14. * Age backwards: Ega * Steak or Seafood: Steak please. * Italian or Chinese: Italian will do nicely. * Pepsi or Coke: Coke. * Chocolate or vanilla: Vanilla. * How many tattoos : No. * Ever hit a deer: No, never. * Last text from: Automated text for a payment. * Favourite season: Summer * Broken bones: No. * Beach or Mountain: Beach. * Dogs or cats: Dogs. * Early morning person: If I must. * Surgeries: No. * Favourite colour: Rose red. * Have you ever flown on a plane: No * Beer or Wine: Beer. * Mild or hot salsa: Mild. * Waffles or pancakes: Pancakes. * Smooth or crunchy peanut butter: None. * Pineapple on pizza: Yes.
  15. The club is doing well, not only with recruitment and the measures Notts has in place to identify talent that can take the club further, but also with winning players on board. I think Luke Williams will play a further role in demonstrating that we are building in the right way. Everything Dan Crowley says reflects so well on Notts right now.
  16. I would sneak one of these into the capsule, but instead of Derby, not that @super_ram would mind, but Notts County colours instead.
  17. Vicky's work with others who have been through what she did with her grandmother is a very kind act. She met with a group in Wollaton and offered them help, which I thought was amazing when I read about it. She's a gem for sure, with a heart of gold. She might say it's her line of duty after what her grandmother went through, but anyone raising funds that go to help others and promote awareness etc. is a touching thing.
  18. It’s a satisfactory draw; no complaints from me. Plenty of different teams to play home and away, no real extensive run of either home or away games grouped together in a row.
  19. I’ve also chosen David McGoldrick, mainly because I value his experience. I think he’s a good addition to the squad and I’m particularly interested to see how he performs.
  20. It’s good to have backup, and I believe he will get some playing time. However, whether he’ll be content with not playing regularly is another matter. In response to @Fan of Big Tone, we did sign him, but unfortunately he got injured during training. That kept him out of the game for a while, and currently he seems to be more of a secondary option.
  21. The start is promising and there’s an opportunity to build momentum early on if the results go our way. The Tranmere game will be a good opportunity to start strong. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the release of the fixtures.
  22. Hello, @NottsLoyal. Its very nice to see you have introduced yourself. This is a good site, so welcome from me too.
  23. I think there’s still room for a few more competitive places. I might be inclined to see the club bring in another keeper and this would depend on securing Tiernan Brooks a full season’s loan deal with a team that will stick with him at the highest possible level. If Aarone Nemane signs, I think the right side is complete. I would say two CBs, one young to bring through as Connell Rawlinson reaches the end of his time at the club and an experienced player to fight for his place in the heart of the defence. A left-back/winger would be good. I think the midfield is perfectly fine at this stage.
  24. It’s not unlike the council to do U-turns when it suits them. I don’t think they have ever known what they’re doing. It’s such a shambles and way too late anyway.
  25. Dan Crowley has had an interesting career, starting at Villa and moving to Arsenal. A lot of good players have also come from Coventry. I wonder what makes the city so special in producing talented players? I think he will be a fine player for Notts.
