I think Newport might try to bully Notts and make the game physical, if things get messy I can see us being the team that suffers. Several of the Notts players react badly. At the moment I don't think I can call the score but I am nervous.

He impressed me until the defence turned to **ap. His confidence seems to deflate easier than Ross Fitzsimons concedes goals. Did anyone else see the noticeable difference? He stopped taking on players, he just seemed to drift into the corners and end up giving the ball a way.

Yeah the defence. The game was winnable that's the annoying thing for me but the awful defending cost the club from doing that.

I have a good feeling tonight, I think Notts will win 2-0. Hopefully they can put on a good display, get the crowd going and we can all enjoy Meadow Lane under the floodlights.

I think you need to calm down, your reply here isn't acceptable. Mark Stallard mentioned how Middlesbrough didn't have to work hard for their goals, this would mean that the defence made it easy. At least it's the cup, if Notts do get knocked out they can focus on the league. I hope they start to lift because at this rate people will start calling for Kevin Nolan's head.

I feel like I'm having a nightmare. I am not sure which PON member said it but I think a much harder run of fixtures would have been better. The players look capable of doing something special but at the same time the defence looks rubbish under pressure. 3-2 isn't the worst result but it's a negative one.

I still think we need a bit of experience in key areas such as goal and centre midfield. striker, right back, left back, winger can all be young.

I would buy one if they was worth reading in the first place, I hope the club does improve them because I would purchase one.

I would say I am more a background member, I post and try to join in but I have not been as involved. How much have you seen PoN grow during your time? The site seems to grow all the time, it's just sad to see those quiet days and how various members have seemed to disappear. If the team can get more back I do feel PON would thrive. If the players give us something to sing about we should be alright, its just a case of the formation and starting lineup. Fail to win here, we may as well give up.

Bad timing game wise as they wont give us much space to play with and even when we do play well against them, they have that habit of scoring one more than us. We need three points here. A good performance especially. I think a 3-1 loss is likely!

Can we get back to winning ways? I hope so but I think we will end up drawing myself. 1-1 for me.

This has to be a win to keep close to Luton, if we drop any more points we are inviting pressure. I would rather see us go up safely than be forced to do it in the playoffs or lose out completely. Exeter are a nothing team, decent players but they bottle promotion virtually all the time.
