  1. Happy Birthday to the gaffer of Pride of Nottingham! May your day be filled with joy and celebration. ????
  2. It’s great to see the owners expressing their gratitude towards the club’s staff and acknowledging their hard work. The renovations on the Meadow Lane playing surface and the installation of a new PA system are exciting developments for the club.
  3. It really puts things into perspective that all three of the top teams had a chance at promotion. I know Chesterfield had a rough patch where they dipped down a bit, but early on they did enjoy a stint at the top.
  4. Luke Williams did a good job on BBC East Midlands. I thought the coverage was decent, but the questions did touch upon things that have already been mentioned. I know the players aren’t at the club, but I think it would have been good for the club to have sent Williams along with a player to balance things out.
  5. It’s an emotional video that’s been very well produced and put together. It’s the kind of thing you’d expect to see in “Welcome to Wrexham”. In my opinion, it’s one of the best videos the club has released. The anniversary video showcasing the club’s history was particularly special!
  6. Ruben Rodrigues is redefining what it means to be a ‘social drinker’! ???? But in all honesty, excessive alcohol and social media use can be a risky combination. Look after yourself.
  7. I’m not bothered either, it was the best attempt at a crossbar challenge I’ve ever seen. The shot was struck perfectly and it’s a shame it didn’t find its way into the back of the net. I would have loved to see Ross Fitzsimons’ reaction to that - it would have been priceless.
  8. My focus is on becoming a strong League Two team. While it’s tempting to discuss the possibility of achieving promotion in our first season back, I believe it would be more advantageous to concentrate on building towards that goal. This approach increases the likelihood of us remaining a League One team without slipping back down.
  9. It’s great to hear that a good pre-season friendly has been announced. I’m curious if the Notts media team is pleased with this development. I recall that a few seasons ago, there was some discontent regarding a friendly with Ilkeston.
  10. I used to sympathise with Ross Fitzsimons, but not anymore. He seems to have a negative attitude and behaves as if he has a grudge. In my opinion, he’s not a very skilled goalkeeper. He seems to lack self-assurance and the capability to consistently perform well in goal. Whenever we play against him, I consider it a stroke of good fortune because we always manage to score.
  11. Hi everyone! I saw @jurgenpie share this on Facebook and thought it might be of interest to the Pride of Nottingham community. The Nottingham Post has a great piece on Notts County fans at Wembley titled ‘Mag-nificent supporters’. The photos of Notts fans are fantastic to see. Check it out!
  12. I’m so proud of our team for their impressive run in the National League and for enduring a challenging play-off campaign to secure their place in League Two.
  13. The notes from your children are heartwarming to read, @KB1862. You must be very proud of them and rightly so.
  14. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Bee. I hope you’ll join in and have a great time participating in our community.
  15. It’s beyond words how kind it is that he keeps complimenting Notts, despite our club not being on his radar as such. Just because we finished second and had a good season, he has taken to liking us and paying respectful wishes to us. If it was any other club’s owner, fans might be more appreciative. However, because it’s Ryan Reynolds, we have negative comments creeping out of the woodwork. It’s truly kind of him.
  16. In the grand scheme of things, life is too short to worry about these sorts of things. @Fan of Big Tone, nobody wanted you to leave. It was saddening to see that happen. It was all largely a miscommunication, but I know that you meant well. You have nothing to apologise for and I’m glad that you’re back. I’m pleased for @super_ram as he clearly enjoys your friendship and it’s great that the two of you can catch up. By the way, your message after Granny Pie passed away was a very touching and unexpected comment. I know it meant a lot to Chris and I’m sure it did to Super as well.
  17. Reading and other clubs can stay away; Luke Williams is a Magpie and he’ll remain one until we’ve made it back into League One or higher.
  18. Aaron Nemane was outstanding at Wembley. His confidence is growing and he’s a quick, skilful player who finds space to exploit. I love watching him tease and take on the opposition; they struggle to keep up with him and it often results in bookings!
  19. @liampie, it was wonderful spending time with you and we should definitely do it again next season. You’re a great lad; you just need to have more confidence in your abilities. No one works as hard as you do. Some come close, but you’re always everywhere. Granny Pie would have thought the same about you. You’re a good egg.
  20. The future looks bright for Notts County. With a talented squad, a great manager, and smart recruitment, there’s no reason why we can’t push for promotion again in League Two. Let’s keep this momentum going!
  21. The story of Sam Slocombe and Archie Mair is one worth telling. Both goalkeepers played their part in our success and deserve recognition for their contributions. While we should praise Mair for his excellent penalty saves, we must also acknowledge the important role that Slocombe has played for the club
  22. Great pictures! @Chris. I am pleased, that you managed to still do the Faces of PON.
  23. Notts County's victory over Chesterfield on penalties to clinch promotion at Wembley is a special memory. The lads should be proud to have gotten us across the line and back into the Football League. It was a hard-fought battle and their determination and skill paid off in the end. Well done to all involved!
  24. @Piethagoram, thank you for all the effort you have put in. It’s very well deserved! Your username is now cemented into the Pride of Nottingham, alongside Macaulay Langstaff, Matt Palmer and John Bostock. Now that’s something!
  25. Fantastic job @Piethagoram! You have truly earned the title of Pride of Nottingham Member of the Year! ????️ A well-deserved recognition for all your hard work and dedication. And a big well done to all the other nominees as well. Let’s make 2024 even better!
