  1. Come on,Notts,PLEASE don't let me down. It's been a great weekend so far .PLEASE DON'T SPOIL IT That was a quick reaction. What a goal..Keep it up.
  2. Here you are @AmericanPie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Trophy
  3. A really excellent blog. With no Rams game this week I was able to give the Notts game on radio my full attention.I get a decent impression from listening but I rely more on comments made here on PoN.You two helped fill in the gaps.Although obviously disappointed there was no overboard reaction.Criticism of the ref wasn't used as an excuse .A collective off day by Notts against a Barrow team who did their job on the day.Thank you for posting.
  4. Good enough for me too @liampieI won't argue with @GrannyPie or you.
  5. The last Notts game I attended, @BromPie,August last season-Notts 0 - Yeovil 4.Hope Notts get some revenge on Saturday.
  6. Wishing Notts good luck today and for the rest of the season.
  7. Here's wishing the new owners and all you long suffering Magpie fans all the luck in the world
  8. Any wins (or draws) away from home are a bonus for Notts but it is absolutely vital that Notts pick up maximum points from home matches.
  9. No Rams match tonight so Notts game will have @GrannyPie's and my full attention.I wonder if Newport will suffer a reaction after their cup game v Man City.Notts players should be full of confidence after the last 3 games.I just hope it's not a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' but Notts carry on with their new found form.Wishing Notts all the best for tonight.
  10. Good luck Notts. Here's hoping for a stella performance and result to persuade the extra fans attending today to return for future games.
  11. Just carry on from where they left off v Bury.Every single player has to concentrate for 90+ minutes, pass to Notts players, tackle as if their life depends on it and put in 100% effort.
  12. I feel your suffering @ARLukomski,surely things will get better after Christmas
  13. I hope this win injects some confidence in Notts and promotes a winning mentality
  14. My god ,that was nervewracking.Well done Notts.
  15. Bugger! That lead didn't last long.Come on Notts shut the critics up. Right ,Notts back in the lead Don't let Tranmere back In.Half time coming up.

  17. I must remember this match is an early kickoff..1.00 kick off listening on Radio red then over to Radio Derby for my lot
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/9342009.stm I remember listening to this game on the radio with @GrannyPie.A repeat of the scoreline isn't impossible
  19. The way you describe the match tallies with the conclusion I came to while listening to the radio almost exactly.
  20. The first half sounded like Notts were under seige and it was just a matter of time before Carlisle scored. The second half Notts sounded in it much more,so what changed?Tactics, subs, formation,Carlisle?
  21. The second half sounded like a big improvement on the first half. What changed?
  22. Did anyone go who can give player ratings please(or have I missed them)?
  23. I always think a point away from home is acceptable whoever the opposition but it is really galling to concede so near to the final whistle..
