    Dan Crowley gets my vote for his performance yesterday. I thought he was very good and key to getting us going.

    Really disappointing to come away with nothing after dominating the game. It felt like we were all over them at times, but just couldn’t find that final touch. The disallowed goal looked onside to me, and I thought the referee had a poor game overall. Gillingham are a tough side to break down, and they defended brilliantly, but I feel like we should’ve done better with the chances we had. Injuries to Jatta and Jones definitely didn’t help, but we’ve got the depth to deal with that. Maynard’s got the team playing well, and despite the loss, I’m still optimistic about where we’re heading this season. Onto the next game!

    It’s not just about defence; our attacking play remains sharp, even when key players are out. Jones’ newfound unpredictability and the overall team’s willingness to step up are encouraging signs. Maynard’s optimism is well-founded, especially with key players returning from injury. The next game against Gillingham will be a real test, but I’m confident we’re up for it, especially with the fan support at Meadow Lane. Let’s bring the noise and be that 12th man!

    I feel for their fans, but it’s a dog-eat-dog league and they are in this situation for a reason. I don’t wish them any harm, but at the same time, they could lose every week for all I care. It makes no difference to me. Harsh, I know, but it’s the truth.

    It’s not good news, not at all. It’s going to be a while, roughly around 2 months give or take, so it must be something concerning but not season-long threatening. Pulled muscle? A knee issue? Who knows. I hope we get some insight into it.

    I don’t mind, as long as it doesn’t cause a distraction for the players or head coach, or lead to injuries. A good cup run can boost morale, but hoping to do well and then exiting early can be crushing. I’m pleased that Notts didn’t let Shrewsbury’s penalty defeat in the League Cup linger.

    Maynard's approach has been spot on this season. The way he's crafted this team to be adaptable and unpredictable in attack is brilliant. We're no longer a one-dimensional side, and you can see how that confuses the opposition. The defence has also stepped up massively, and that gives the whole team confidence to push forward. I'm particularly impressed by how calm and collected the lads have been, especially when they fall behind. Games like the one against Bromley highlight our never-say-die attitude. It’s great to see a manager who knows how to get the best out of his players.

    Shows the strong start Notts have made and how different things are this time round compared to last season. Gillingham at the weekend is going to be a big test, but it would be nice to see the form continue.

    Funny comment. I don’t know how having a gamer would help a club, but Bromley are in the Football League and that does look good. It’s the type of thing you would expect a mate to do when managing somewhere. Hire a friend in a role that serves no real purpose.

    Carlisle United are in no position to pull away a potential promotion-chasing team’s manager, not with the way they are currently run. It would be bizarre for it to happen.

    I would hope Meadow Lane can keep it up, as I can see another thousand or two with bigger clubs from League One if we can get up there. All the money generated by the club will go towards making us stronger as a club.

    Strong signs to come back and retake the lead after being two goals down. I hope we can show this more often but without conceding first. It reminded me somewhat of the Fleetwood game. Just Bromley were poor defensively and Notts more clinical on goal.

    He looked good in the games he played in the pre-season. When he left on loan, I felt surprised, but I get the feeling Notts want players who can play elsewhere up top. I don’t know if that is something Junior Morias can do. Good player, I agree. We will miss making it work, I agree on that.

    I can't express how delighted I am that Jodi Jones has signed a new contract with Notts. His assist record is nothing short of spectacular and shows his importance to our attacking strategy. Beyond his statistics, Jones’ ability to adapt and improve his game demonstrates his commitment to the club. Stuart Maynard praising Jodi's defensive efforts is particularly encouraging, as it shows he's becoming a more well-rounded player. His skill on the right wing this season has been a key factor in our success. It's reassuring to know he’ll be part of our team until 2027. Here's to many more assists, goals, and unforgettable moments from Jodi!

    I think Tom’s article captures what it’s like to be a Notts supporter right now. Meadow Lane is a much livelier place now, so I commend him for pointing it out. The club’s commitment to the local community is commendable. Initiatives like keeping the Portland Centre open show that Notts County cares about more than just football. It’s about making a difference in people’s lives.

    The recruitment at Notts has been the best in years under the Reedtz era. We need to trust the board and Stuart Maynard to bring in the right players. Even though we might not have had the busiest transfer windows, we've filled important areas like up front. Rallying what you have can be good for a close-knit squad looking for promotion. Maynard has thrived with better options on the bench and a stronger starting lineup. This must make his job much easier, so I see no faults.

    That's a good observation about Accrington Stanley. It must be challenging to deal with the number of players they lose, but they seem to have a strong team spirit.

    Honouring Sven with a minute's applause should echo throughout Meadow Lane. I hope fans behave themselves and don't ruin it like the last major tribute. A heartfelt send-off is the least we can do, especially considering he left us without receiving money that he waived.

    A huge congratulations to the team for the Swindon win! It was a nail-biter, but the Magpies showed exceptional resilience. Stuart Maynard has indeed crafted a team with defensive solidity and clinical finishing. David McGoldrick's goals were sublime and crucial to our win. What’s commendable is the depth of the squad, with the less regular players stepping up admirably in the absence of key figures. The newly signed players like George Abbott bring versatility and promise to the team. If we maintain this level of performance, we could be in for a phenomenal season. Let’s hope we work on intensity and ball recovery to stay consistent. Onward and upward!
