  1. I’m not familiar with him, but I’ve heard from some Grimsby fans who are worried that their club is regressing. I’m grateful that we’re under the stewardship of good people who are committed to our progress.
  2. This thread is filled with some truly hilarious cartoons. It’s a joy to see them!
  3. Hello, @magpiemad, Welcome to PoN.
  4. Hello, @Darryl Chapman, Welcome to PoN.
  5. Hello, @Laura Cameron, Welcome to PoN.
  6. Clearly, some serious soul-searching is needed both on and off the pitch. The team's fragile defensive stance and lack of innovative moves are factors that must be dealt with urgently. This analysis is a true reflection of its struggles. But all said and done, I believe in the Magpies and their ability to bounce back stronger.
  7. I’ve cast a vote for a member in each category. It was a challenging decision to make as all the members have been making excellent comments.
  8. With all the rumours flying about, good on Luke Williams for staying focused on the task at hand. The man is dedication personified.
  9. Football can be a fickle game, and loyalty is often hard to come by. But Luke Williams has shown that there are individuals who value their relationships with the club and supporters over anything else. His refusal to move to Oxford United despite the temptations further solidifies his commitment to Notts County.
  10. No doubt, the disparity between National League and League Two can be a significant challenge. However, with strategic moves like bringing in Gosling, the gap can surely be closed. As fans, we eagerly anticipate the remarkable impact Gosling will make on the team's overall performance. A step in the right direction, I agree.
  11. Notts demonstrated their capability to secure a victory against the formidable Crawley Town, a fact that speaks volumes in itself. The outcome has filled me with joy and satisfaction, as the team achieved the necessary result. This success promises an additional payday, providing us with the opportunity to bolster our ranks come January, should we decide to do so. Despite this, I remain confident in the depth of our current squad.
  12. Hello, @Max Roberts. Welcome to PoN.
  13. This has been a long-standing issue, with teenagers often causing the damage ones which are there. Given that more people are engrossed in their phones rather than watching their step, this poses a serious risk.
  14. It doesn’t seem like Forest Green required a goalie, but best wishes to the former Notts lad.
  15. McGoldrick was indeed the shining star of the match. What a fantastic representation of a never-give-up attitude! His importance in the pivotal moments only re-emphasizes his value in the squad. His pace and acute sense of game dynamics undoubtedly make him a force to reckon with. Here's hoping that he continues his spirited performance and helps Notts County conquer new heights.
  16. Staggering work from Notts, incredibly proud! The rewards of their relentless training and preparation really show through the performances.
  17. While the result wasn’t as hoped, Williams’ comments highlight football’s essence: passion, perseverance, and teamwork. Notts County’s resilience is praiseworthy, demonstrating their readiness to tackle challenges. The role of nearly 3,000 travelling Notts supporters is significant, reflecting the fanbase’s love and loyalty. Williams’ recognition and appreciation of their unwavering support is heartening.
  18. I am thrilled for the upcoming match against MK Dons. Despite our recent promotion, we have been holding our own and showing that we belong in this league. On the other hand, MK Dons are looking to bounce back from a setback and reestablish themselves as a top team. With both teams having different motivations and strategies coming into this match, it’s sure to be an exciting contest. May the best team win! Come on you Pies!
  19. Very unfortunate news to learn about, Rest in Peace, Ian Hamilton. My thoughts and wishes are with his family and friends.
  20. @MagpieRoy welcome to PON.
  21. MK Dons aren’t undefeatable, but they are a good side. I think it will be a good gauge to see where we stand compared to another team in very good form, both home and away. If we take the lead, it must be defended and protected to the best of our ability because they can get back into matches.
  22. Long may it continue, because Meadow Lane has been crying out for seasons like this for years. The stability and the way the club is moving forward would bring a smile to Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler.
  23. It didn’t seem like a very serious trial. I assumed he was either from the academy or training with us. Good luck to the lad in getting the game time needed to gain experience. He would be behind in the pecking order here.
