Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
Defensively is the area we need to improve the most. We play good, fluid football and can break teams down when we control the matches. Itβs good to see the players enjoying their football. I like how Luke Williams is building.

Simon Clarkβs Pick of the Top Away Games to Enjoy This Season
A lot of the away games that I will be attending will be decided very close to when the tickets go on sale, but I do find the list of fixtures interesting and the reasons why. I hope I can make it to games such as Walsall, Tranmere, MK Dons, etc. Bradford City is one of the bigger teams in the league too.

Scouting Dossier : Notts v F*rest
He did very well; he was posing for photos after the games with fans and came across as very nice. I didnβt have mine taken with anyone, but I stood waiting with some people I know who were seeking the other teamβs players. ????

Youth Scholars sign deals
This is fantastic news, a positive sign, and hopefully, in a few years, some of them will be making our squad. Itβs a good point for them to come into the team; we just need to get them experience and push them.

Charlie Slater moves on
I am saddened to see Charlie Slater leave. I understand his decision, but I hope we can find someone more long term. Itβs hard to invest when changes are made, just like everything. I do think younger fans, younger than I am, liked Charlie because he was a good guy.

Luke Williams discusses Notts Countyβs new kit design and player evaluation
I'm all for Notts being back in a proper stripe! I loved the pinstripe of last season as well, but there's something iconic about the black and white bars. It feels quintessentially 'County.' The new kit design honours our history while giving a fresh appeal for the upcoming season. Exciting times!

Charlie Slater leaves Notts County commentary with heartfelt message
Charlie was the βvoiceβ that we associated with Notts County. His warm and engaging commentary, coupled with his palpable affection for the club, truly endeared him to the fans. It's indeed a sad day knowing he wonβt be there to narrate our victories and losses, but I am certain that wherever he goes next, heβll be a smashing success. Good luck, Charlie!

Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
He seems like an incredible representative of our club and someone who played with passion. Iβm sure it takes a special individual to do all that he did for Notts. He may have done it all without hesitation, and some of it may have gone unnoticed, but stories like this change that. What I take away from reading about this alumnus is a sense of gratitude for those former players who go above and beyond to preserve our history. I hope we honour his legacy in the same way.

Season Predictions: Who Will Come Out on Top?
Best Signing: David McGoldrick Highest Goal Scorer: Macca Most Improved Player of the Season: Kyle Cameron. Most Starts in the Season: Matt Palmer or Dan Crowley. Best partnership between two players: Matt Palmer and John Bostock. Please donβt misunderstand my comment about Kyle Cameron. He has been superb, but I believe that this season we will see him eliminate many of the issues that have divided fans. He should have more time on the ball and I think he will be solid defensively. I donβt believe he will be caught out as often as we have seen in the past.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Bucks (A)
I hope the squad continues to settle down so that we can start to form an idea of who will be starting in the game against Sutton. I think itβs important to keep involving the youth players. It seems only two of them are being included now, but I would like to see more of Riley Reynolds. We have shown some good promise, and friendlies arenβt all about winning. Theyβre more about gauging how weβre preparing for the new season.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Itβs clear that full focus during key stages is crucial. Williams owning up to his mistake and apologising shows good leadership. I initially thought Cameron had switched off, but this explains what happened.

Notts Countyβs Tobi Adebayo-Rowling Makes Triumphant Return to the Pitch
I wasnβt sure how he would fit into the squad, having not seen him play much. However, he seems to have come back from rehab and training and just gone with it, which is great to see. He comes across as an uplifting character, which is always good to have in a squad. His ability is also showing, as he put in several classy crosses and was one of the better performers against Forest.

MAGnet links - AFC Telford
John Cofie is the only player that I can think of, he arrived on loan at Notts.

Nice gesture by Stoke FC
Iβm not sure if Notts made a donation themselves. I havenβt seen anything mentioned on social media or in articles, but perhaps someone else can clarify. I think it would have been a wise decision to donate alongside Stoke City, who made a very nice gesture by donating their part.

Pre-season synopsis - Forest (H)
I was impressed by how well Notts handled Forest. All the players played a significant role in keeping them quiet, and it showed that we can compete with teams at our level.

Luke Williams Shares His Insight into Notts Countyβs Pre-Season Friendly Against Nottingham Forest
I completely agree with @CliftonMagpie's comment. The switch to a 4-4-2 formation was a positive change, allowing for more control in midfield and better defensive composure. Itβs important to be patient in the build-up, moving the ball around to create space and prevent giving the ball away needlessly. Notts looked superb when they went for it, and both teams showed a lot of respect for each other. Itβs great to see that even when tensions rose, the game never boiled over. It was a well-played match by both sides.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Forest didn't seem to have multi-million pound players. They could pass the ball around, but otherwise looked lacklustre. I don't think they really contributed much to the friendly, but Notts did a lot better. Connell Rawlinson performed well in defence. Jodi Jones looked on par with Forest, and it took three or four players to contain him. Matt Palmer played well, but he wasn't my Man of the Match. David McGoldrick coped well with the physical game that Forest brought, with all the pushing and shoving.

Kyle Cameron on the upcoming season
Good interview; I hope he can play a big role in helping us push up the table and finish strongly.

The Impact of Streaming on Film Nostalgia
I have never used or seen a VHS tape either. I have some DVDs, but not many. With regards to watching content, I can think of things I have seen before and would like to watch again. But I donβt watch many films via streaming, so that could be part of the reason.
-
Where are they now? Michael Doyle
Good luck to Michael Doyle; I always appreciated what he did for Notts.
-
Neil Warnock
@KB1862 I wouldnβt want to be on the end of his rant; I think I would prefer one from Alex Ferguson because I donβt think it would be as intimidating. Plus, I would find it hard to understand and not laugh at him.

Weekend Plans Friday 14th - Sunday 16th
Today, I had college and rested for the most part. Tomorrow, I am going to see Notts take on Forest, and on Sunday, if the weather is up to it, I should be going to Sheffield.

This poor man is an emotional wreck because of Notts fans
Notts should send him a personal card, wishing him better. With the insert inside playing White Stripesβ Seven Nation Army. ????
