The squad is capable of winning but the team always performs differently. I want to see Neal Ardley send a strong message after Mansfield and focus on Notts being more attacking minded. To defend only invites pressure and attacking is the best means to control games. I think we don't have the players to counter well without running into problems. So the midfield need to play closely, Nathan Thomas might play well tomorrow but I wouldn't stand him.

Notts won't win we know that but a 1-1 or 2-2 draw could happen.

Not interested, just use the game to try and win. Lead into Mansfield with some confidence and belief, how they play does matter but the scoreline doesn't for me.

I don't like saying it but I expect a loss, it might be a blessing in disguise so that the club can focus on the league.

Solid second half performance and a good win, I enjoyed the game.

It's good to see Jimmy being respected by those who knew and played with him.

I don't know what to expect, I just hope we see a good performance and Meadow Lane is rocking on Saturday. Hopefully to a Notts win.

As far as the game goes, we might not have created the better chances but Notts still played well. Defensively I felt it looked like a completely different team and it seems to have restored Fitzsimons confidence. When your bottom of the league, its hard to appreciate a draw especially when it lifts you from that position.

I agree everything mentioned by @Chris. Scoring goals isn't easy for Notts but we look goo, conceding them is the complete opposite and the question must be why the defence still hasn't made that much of a difference despite them working hard? I think teams know how to punish us and I don't the club realise how easy it is right now.

I think a draw at best but I hope for a win as always.

Is Jason that official who cost the game by making repeatedly poor decisions? There was one which I can recall being ever so bad. I hope it's not!
