  3. @Fan of Big Tone Most of the time, it works automatically...but sometimes it doesn't... For example, if I copy and paste a link..sometimes it doesn't embed Off topic again, how does one get the "quote" like "Proud to be,,,, " on to one's profile?
  4. 3 EFL "League" games in, an average 10,990 Where I sit in the Pavis, there used to be plenty of free seats ...now it's packed...but what is more encouraging, is the numbers of younger supporters coming through Long may it continue
  5. https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/23762906.ruben-rodrigues-people-questioned-oxford-united-move/ United reportedly beat Championship side Cardiff City, plus League One rivals Barnsley and Derby County, to his signature. He said: “A lot of people questioned my decision to come to Oxford. Of course, Notts County is a big team and I was loved and always going to play. “I wanted another challenge, I have never played league football before. I know [United] finished low last season, it was always going to be a question of how well we do this season. “I have no regrets since moment one. The players and staff have been brilliant with me and we are top of league one. “ On the U’s early season form, he said: “You always look forward to the next game, especially when you are top. “Teams come knowing it is going to be a tough game for them so they are going to have to bring everything which makes us be on our toes. “We know we have to deliver because know how good we are now. That always makes it better because playing well makes it fun for everyone, it’s nice winning games and buzz around here. “It’s still the first five games, so of course we are happy but we haven’t done anything really, there are 41 games left.” And on that elusive first goal, he added: “Of course I want a goal, I know as soon as it comes then more will follow. “It is always the first one that is the waiting process. I know it will come because the good things take time.”
  6. Rodwell was never "customer facing" at Notts. His career path since: Scunthorpe, Sunderland, Peterborough Hull , now Charlton.
  7. We need to get Bostock to sign an extended contract now. The whole Notts team is set up with the Palmer/Bostock pivot
  8. The line ups: https://www.skysports.com/football/liverpool-vs-notts-county/teams/300169
  9. I always have great respect for John Coleman. Apart from about 2 years, he has been at Accrington since 1999
  10. An example of hyper inflationary transfer fees at the moment . Macca could now be worth £10 million based on these silly prices If the Saudi's come back to Liverpool with near £200m for Salah, Liverpool would surely take the money and run laughing all the way to the bank
  11. Just to reinforce the point that @Ohh Tommy Johnson was making of the bird habitats around Pegwell Bay etc
  12. Wordle 806 4/6 A seriously heavy clue for a Notts striker maybe
  13. A fair summary @RetroPie
  14. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12953525/notts-county-3-1-accrington-league-two-highlights
  15. A literary Sunday for me, at the Queens Park Book Festival in London
  16. As usual @Elite_pieis always good with his ratings I would reduce Chicksen to a 5 for those mistakes. My frustrations are when he has space to take the ball further up but needlessly checks inside. I would also reduce Cameron to a 6. Just check his positioning from the highlights video for Accrington's goal? Accrington exposed our defensive shortcomings with another goal conceded from a set play. Had we been able to sign that 6ft 5 Drogheda defender, I would have been extremely confident now of our ability to go straight up again
  17. I agree with @allardyces tash... I still have concerns over our defence, another set piece goal conceded..and they had a couple of good chances which they failed to bury, especially a header in the 2nd half
  18. Wordle 805 3/6
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/23764145 Really remember Callum having a great chance to win it for Notts, a moment's hesitation and the chance was lost
