  3. I like the changes to the menus. It makes a real difference being able to see them on my phone. Scrolling after pressing used to be a bit tricky, but now everything feels much more polished.
  4. The bad weather and wind seem to have been the final blow to my back garden fence, so I am having it replaced soon. I have someone from a fencing company coming out around three this afternoon. I have already had two quotes which I rejected straight away. I think some of these people either do not want the job and price it high to put you off, or they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Over three thousand pounds is far too much money for such a simple job. I am not in a rush to have it fixed, but if I keep getting high quotes I will do it myself. There is no heavy digging needed, and the old fence is easy to remove. Concrete posts, concrete and fence panels would not cost that much, so the labour charges must be easy money for them.
  5. I hate it when an overseas owner comes in and acts like they know everything about football, especially when it is an American. Most of them seem clueless and only think about themselves. He would not like it if Birmingham City had a glass roof put over them, especially if they slipped up and were relegated again. Who really wants to play in the same league forever without any changes each season.
  6. I think Paterson’s comments on fitness were telling. He said Dennis needed to be a lot fitter when he arrived in pre-season, but now he’s worked on it. That explains the improvement we’ve seen in recent weeks. It’s also important that the manager admitted where the team had been poor with set-pieces. Many would avoid that, but he owned it and spoke about the adjustments. It’s small things like this that can make a difference when you’re competing near the top. I’m also encouraged that Ness is close to a return. We’ve lacked a bit of defensive cover at times, so his comeback can’t come soon enough. Today is a real benchmark for where we stand.
  7. Crowley’s realistic outlook on injuries and match outcomes show his maturity and understanding of the sport. It reflects the determination and tenacity of the team in overcoming challenges.
  8. The team's ability to control the game with one less player was impressive. It shows their resilience and determination to succeed.
  9. The connection between the fans and the team is so important, especially at home. The support from the crowd really does make a difference. Keep up the great work, Notts!
  10. Props to Notts County for delivering a strong performance and utilizing effective tactics. Building on this victory will be key for future success.
