@DangerousSausage I want Notts to win their last two matches & get into the playoffs by their own results rather than rely on other clubs. I'd rather face Grimsby or Chesterfield in the semi finals than Colchester or Salford who seem to have our number. Everyone will have their own opinion on who we might face or don't face if we make it to the playoffs. It's a good line of discussion because there are so many different possibilities.

Carlisle play Salford at home on the last day. It Carlisle still have a mathematical chance of avoiding relegation, a win over Salford could easily affect the playoff places, including the fate of Notts.

Don't know what to make of this proposed appointment. It appears Kogan's been involved in the making of TV deals, that have broadly been unfair to the lower leagues, & basically makes the bigger clubs richer & the smaller clubs poorer. The TV revenue raised isn't getting passed down to the lower leagues as it should. It doesn't give me any confidence that this football regulator will make much difference to the status quo that we have in football at the moment.

Overcast here with rain in the air. It's 10 Deg C & there should be a high of 15 Deg C later on in the afternoon. Been out this morning running some errands for the Mrs. Bought a few goodies for the weekend. Just over 24 hours before the big match. The biggest game of the season so far. In effect it is almost a playoff decider.

Notts have done well and will finish midtable this season. They have a really good opportunity to finish with a win against Solihull. Notts finishing on 34 points would be a good effort & a big improvement on last season when Notts just avoided relegation. Solihull have struggled this season & have been relegated along with Lincoln City (Nettleham).
