Hello & a big welcome from me @roadsider1862 & welcome to our PON community.

A big welcome from me @Terry Lyons & welcome to our friendly PON community.

The remaining B Team friendlies before the regular season starts.

Notts declare on 578 for 8Lyndon James makes an unbeaten career best 203.

The Club has invested in a new pitch, ground infrastructure, the Nest, & the Highfields Sports Complex with the University of Nottingham, which will have taken quite a lot of financing. But I do agree @Wheelbarrow repair man that although it is important to invest in the future off the pitch, it is very important to invest in improving the team too. Success on the pitch will bring in more revenue for the club, & promotion would take the club to another level financially. We still have around a couple of weeks before the start of the season, & I'm hopeful that the club will strengthen the side by using some of the cash from the players sold. We also know that the cash from transfers don't come in all at once. Many transfers are paid for over months & sometimes years whether it's monies received or paid out. We know how careful the brothers are with the Notts finances. But that shouldn't stop the brothers buying suitable players if they become available. Let's see what happens over the next few weeks.

Tea as been taken & another great session for Notts with them moving on to 571 for 8

Lunch on the 2nd day with Notts moving on to 387 for 6.

The 2nd day of the match between Hampshire & Notts resumes with Notts on 241 for 5.

The Notts B side that played Radford last night & came back with a victory.

Sometimes you have to take a few hints. I just didn't get it till I'd taken a couple.

@Fan of Big Tone @super_ram I suppose one positive about this game is you only have to solve three of the sets of four.

He's certainly one of the best Nottinghamshire Captains that they've ever had. He lead Notts to two County Championships in 1981 & 1987. A team that also included Richard Hadlee & Derek Randall.

Congratulations to England. In the final once again. Left it late once again. But what a tremendous comeback. These ladies never know when they are beaten. Looking forward to the final.

Looks like a bit of good PR by Newport. I suppose clubs have to try to make some money anyway they can.

A narrow defeat for Walsall in a friendly tonight against Derby County 2:3 @super_ram Walsall have had a mixed pre season losing to Hereford too. We will have to see how Walsall performance in their first five or so pre season matches to see if they will be a big threat to teams this season.

Sad news from the Music World tonight. Ozzy Osborne best known for fronting the Heavy Metal Rock Band, Black Sabbath has died. RIP Ozzy

"The probability of scoring a goal from a penalty kick is generally high, with statistics showing a success rate around 75%. This means on average, 3 out of 4 penalties taken result in a Goal." "However, this can vary based on factors like the skill of the penalty taker and the quality of the goalkeeper." Source Google.
