  1. I'm so glad for what Neil did for Notts during his tenure here and he will always be a Notts legend, but time has moved on and bringing him back to Notts now would be a backward step in my opinion.
  2. Weather forecast For Friday Morning
  3. Unfortunately, Notts Outlaws have fallen to their third successive defeat this term, this time against Worcestershire Rapids. Notts could only muster 134 for 7 in their 20 overs & lost by 20 runs. A big effort is needed in the next two matches at the weekend if Notts are going to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages, because they are falling behind the leading teams in this league.
  4. I think it is a good squad. The team will most likely be built around Bellingham with the standout players being Foden, Walker, Rice, Saka, Palmer, Kane & Stones Disappointing not to see Jack Grealish in the squad. I think we are good enough to get to the Semis, but I always worry about Southgate's negativity when it gets to the latter stages of a competition.
  5. @Wheelbarrow repair man I know we've talked about this subject a lot but something new always crops up like this decision today. And, don't be surprised if this decision today was linked to the fact that Man City are suing the PL. There is talk about Man City looking to bring back the Euro Super League back on the agenda if they lose this case. Lots of politicing going off at the moment. I think the clubs, other than Man City, are trying to demonstrate that they have solidarity with the PL as the PL fights this case.
  6. @Wheelbarrow repair man It was interesting that Wolves were the only team who voted to discontinue VAR. Nineteen PL clubs voted to keep it, including Forest who were moaning constantly about it all season. Looks like the Clubs all fell into line with nothing more than a wimper, and decided not to upset the apple cart.
  7. Rapids finish on 154 for 8 after their 30 overs. Notts Outlaws need 155 to win. Can they get their first win of the campaign.
  8. Half way through the innings & the Worcestershire Rapids are 69 for 6, after 10 overs. Ollie Stone has two of those wickets
  9. Worcestershire have won the toss and will bat first. Notts will be looking for their first win of this season's competition tonight after suffering 2 defeats in their first two matches. Here is the Notts team for tonight's match ????
  10. @Wheelbarrow repair man that's why I think that Notts will need a substantial cash injection to even challenge for the PL, & even more when they get to the PL just to survive. The current financial rules are very rigid & we've seen what happens to clubs when those rules are broken. The Reedtz brothers head a consortium, so I would assume that they would be looking for a cash injection by a third party, similar to what happened at Man U recently. I personally think that the owners are only looking as far as being a stable Championship Club for the foreseeable future, once they get there.
  11. Excellent read @Scotty ????
  12. Game 3 of the 20/20 season. Notts Outlaws v Worcestershire Rapids at Trent bridge, match starts at 6:30 pm
