  1. Rain is sweeping across the country today and tomorrow which means rainfall totals are on the rise and is likely to cause some localised impacts
  2. The presentation ceremony for Notts County girls under 12 as UK International Cup 2024 champions.
  3. @Wheelbarrow repair man You are absolutely right. Give a shout-out to these U12s for their success Congratulations to our Notts County Women FC Elite Player Pathway U12s. This is the team they met in the final.
  4. VAR was brought in as you said, to solve that problem, but it hasn't because on field officials still make the same mistakes as they did pre VAR & the officials that operate VAR are reluctant to rule against the on field Ref even though the on field Ref has clearly made a mistake. I think the VAR officials should be manned by former players, to cut out a possible conflict of interest
  5. Breaking News. Everton docked a further 2 points for breaking FFP rules for the second time. They go down a place in the PL table. Looks like the relegation battle could be decided by the result of appeals to the points deductions of Everton and Forest. And meanwhile, nothing decided about Man City's 116 charges of breaking FFP rules.
  6. @Ohh Tommy Johnson Nothing has changed from decisions pre VAR. It's all down to interpretation by the match officials on what they see, and how they see it. Saw the highlights of Spurs v Forest and a player was clearly punched but it wasn't judged as violent conduct by the match officials, but different officials may have had an alternative judgement and sent the player off VAR has not stopped the inconsistences with decisions by match officials. I agree with you, that we shouldn't see VAR rolled out in the lower leagues.
