  1. @Wheelbarrow repair man I've defended Stuart on many occasions but his post match interview was a bit bazaar for me. His insistence that the team played to a good level doesn't wash with me. We lost didn't we? Notts beat Salford at their place so easily. We were top of the league in October playing much better than we are now. The Notts collapse since then has been unprecedented, & I don't see how Notts are going to finish these last 7 games on a high. It will be tough for Maynard to keep his job now.
  2. Post match, Stuart has his say. I just don't believe in the analogy that a team can play well and lose. A team loses matches because they concede goals. No point in having the vast majority of possession but their goalie hardly had a save to make, and our goalie had several saves to make. I think it's going to be difficult for Stuart to get positive results from these last 7 matches with nothing to play for.
  3. Notts are defeated again at home. So another defeat at home. All of our opponents play exactly the same against us and just wait for our defensive mistakes. It's getting so predictable now We are simply not strong enough for this league. We need strong tough players who will not be bullied around. Notts certainly need a big clear out in the close season, otherwise Notts will struggle next term
  4. Salford take the lead again.
  5. Equaliser for Notts. Crowley with the goal.
  6. Half time Notts 0 Salford 1 Notts just cannot get around the Salford press. Stuart needs to change things a little in the second half.
  7. Goal to Salford. Salford's tactics are paying off at the moment. Our defence left wanting again.
  8. Notts team to face Salford. Slocombe returns in goal and Chicksen replaces Nemane who is ill. Didzy is on the bench. I would have kept Ashby-Hammond in Goal. He did well against Bradford.
  9. The Nottingham Rugby team to play at Cambridge today. Kick off 3pm.
  10. Your Matchday Weather for this afternoon.
  11. It's Matchday. Notts V Salford.
  12. Another big Night as Panthers host the Sheffield Steelers in the Elite League, at the Motorpoint Arena: face off 7pm.
  13. Agree @menzinho the side that won at Bradford picks itself, and with the anticipated return of Scott and Didzy we should have a much stronger bench to turn to if required. The only concern I have is our vulnerability to crosses and dead ball situations like corners and free kicks around the box. Your suggestion of using Warner to mark Smith is a good one. We'll see how Notts line up to counter the aerial threat from Salford. Will certainly be key to our success on Saturday.
