  1. This feels like a clickbait story. The club could have signed Archie Mair earlier and had him involved much sooner. I don’t think it’s going to happen now, and I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. I didn’t mind Mair myself, but he did take about 15–20 minutes to settle into a game, which is tough to watch when it’s the goalkeeper.
  2. Hello and welcome @muskan761947! Dive into the latest Notts talk or just say hi. The community regulars will be glad you’re here.
  3. Thank you for the warm reception. I am a Notts County fan, but I am also involved in football. I don't want to sound pretentious, but the TFP stands for "True Football Profit". In time, I hope the community here will see that I come with good intentions and am open to lively discussions. If I can, I will squash false or misleading rumours.
  4. I don't mind hearsay; I shared my original post in the hope it shows I can provide accurate information at times. I believe it should be done with honesty and good intentions, not for clicks or social media fame. What do I gain by posting here? Nothing, most won’t believe me and that’s fine. I don’t want to spread lies or anything like that. I just want to share what I’ve heard and stop fans from worrying about those who spread unfounded or made-up stories.
  5. I am not here to stir up trouble or share false or misleading information. There's nothing mysterious about it, but if you listen to the right people, you will hear and learn things. The right people will never mislead you, unlike these X-kids or "in the know" fans. Common sense accompanies much of the gossip, so I understand that you need to be cautious. I am not profiting or seeking clicks, unlike the modern social media crowd. Firstly, I believe Notts will be signing one more player but not on loan. Macaulay Langstaff was never a serious consideration. Enquiries were made, but there wasn't any negotiation of wages or anything concrete about a loan. Alassana Jatta has been the subject of two bids, both rejected. One is public knowledge, the other is through the grapevine, and it is believed to be more than the amount reported by the media. The second bid isn't from Bolton Wanderers. The board is desperate to retain the right players in hope of gaining promotion this season. They are quietly optimistic and believe the squad is now good enough to continue their current form. Michael Reindorf is a player Notts have been tracking, but he is not someone the club will be bringing in. The rumours about a war to get his signature are very misleading. It’s a case of being scouted and everyone else making two plus two fit their own agenda. While we might be disappointed in Dan Crowley leaving, none of the players are particularly bothered. Not that there's any ill feeling towards him, but the Notts camp knew he would do anything to force the move. Certain key players felt he should have been sold at the beginning of the season.
