  1. Football is about learning while you play, and sometimes this season it has looked like promotion might not happen. Then we go on a good run and it feels possible again.

There are still lots of games to play, so there are plenty of points to win. Harrogate will not be the only team to show where we are weak.

I think back to the matches against Gillingham and Barrow. Those games really showed us a lot and made us think.

  2. Dennis is a really good player. When he first came to Notts, not many people expected much. Some fans were surprised that the club made a big deal about him, especially since he only scored a few goals at Carlisle.

Carlisle weren’t doing great, so it’s cool that Dennis still managed to stand out. It shows he’s got something special. He’s starting to show that now with us. He works well in our team and plays the way we need. It’s great having someone like him who keeps getting better and can do something amazing when you least expect it.

  3. Some people just don’t know how to say what they mean properly. They get angry and type the first thing that pops into their head. It doesn’t help anyone and just makes things worse.

If someone really wants the Reedtz brothers to leave, and they can explain it properly, I’d still be confused. They’ve done loads of good stuff for the club and seem to care about it. I don’t get why anyone would want that to stop.

  4. Notts played really well against Fleetwood. They were good at going forward and also strong at the back.

I like how the club didn’t blame the pitch, even though they said it did make things harder. Most of the time, I thought Notts were the better side. Fleetwood did push near the end, and it felt a bit like how Notts play sometimes.

It was a fun match to watch, with two good teams giving it their all.

  5. I agree with what @CliftonMagpie and @allardyces tash have said. I do like Martin Paterson, but I think he’s trying to please the wrong group of fans.

A lot of what he says could be used against him later. If results don’t go the way people want, the same fans he’s trying to win over might turn on him. It’s a risky approach. Being too careful with words or trying to manage opinions can backfire, especially when things aren’t going well.

I’d rather he focused on the team and let the football speak for itself. That way, there’s less room for people to twist his words.

  6. I’m not trying to be mean, but I think Matt Dennis should’ve scored. We were lucky the ball bounced nicely to Kellan Gordon, and he smashed it in really well.

It was funny when the Tranmere players all fell into the goal and the net. Their keeper acted like he got hurt, but it didn’t look real at all. I’m glad the ref and the linesman didn’t fall for it. They made the right call.

Such a brilliant win! I’m really happy with how it ended.

  7. I think we played much better this time, especially against a strong League Two team. Bromley looked like they could get better as the game went on, and even though they didn’t have loads of shots, they still had some good chances. I think they had one more shot than us, and they probably should’ve got more than just a point. Their goal was really lucky. It somehow got through and ended up in the net, which was a bit unfair.

Even though that happened, I still feel good about how we played. It shows we’re improving.

  8. I think it’s great that we’re signing young players and giving them a chance. We can’t always buy big names, and it’s smart to look for good players we can afford.

It helps the club save money too, which is important. If we can get someone with talent for a fair wage, that’s a good move.

We just need a striker now! But welcome to Notts County, Tyrese Hall!

  9. The players should get fitter and learn to stay focused, but they shouldn’t be scared to make strong tackles or worry about being too kind when playing. Football needs tough players who aren’t afraid to fight for the ball. He’s played at high levels, so we know he’s got good experience.

Our team sometimes looks tired or starts slow, and that can be a problem. If we work on our fitness and show the right attitude, things can really change. It makes me feel excited because it sounds like we’re going in the right direction. There’s a good chance we’ll improve with better energy and teamwork.
