Good morning it’s a lovely bright start to the day but cold. I assume everyone is waking up happy after last nights results? Even @super_ram should have a smile on his face this morning. I’ve not got much on for today apart from a walk to the shops maybe for a mooch around to see if they are giving anything away, yeah right that’ll be the day. Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

I was going to pick Tsaroulla before Didzy came on but I’ve got to pick Didzy not only for his superb goal but from the affect he has on the team giving them a lift just by being on the bench,

I’d like to think Charlie Slater commenting on Sky brought us luck even though his mike went down for most of the second half.

That’s a great win for Notts on a pitch that resembled the pitch on our local park. Jatta is back in the goals and Didzy comes off the bench to show how important he is to Notts. The only downside was Bass going off injured in the first half but Slocombe came on and did what he had to. Well done Notts, bring on Chesterfield.

Well it’s still 0-0 which is a positive but to be fair we haven’t seen much from Notts as an attacking threat apart from a really good chance when Jatta just failed to get on the end of a cross in the first minute. The pitch is absolutely awful especially in the penalty areas, Notts are playing in orange and Grimsby in black and white stripes which makes it hard to watch as I keep getting mixed up. Tsaroulla is playing well on the left and putting some good crosses in, hopefully Jatta can get on the end of one but at the moment Grimsby are looking the more likely.

Charlie Slater is commentating on the match for Sky Sports it’s great to hear him again.

That’s fantastic news, I don’t expect he’ll start but I hope he comes on a some point we need him back in the team.

Morning all, the sunshine has gone it’s a cloudy start and forecast to be colder. I’ve got to go to the dental lab this morning, I have a partial top denture which broke in two last night. I’m hoping they can fix it as I wont get a dentist appointment before our holiday next week. I haven’t got much else on other than that, we’ll probably have a walk this afternoon but not too far as my thighs are still sore from running on Saturday. Have a great day.

Morning all, it’s the last day of the warmer weather so make the most of today, next week is colder. My Fitbit had a message on the app saying I’ve been overdoing it lately and I’ve got to take time out to relax so I’m going to do just that. My legs are aching from yesterdays park run but I do need to mow the lawn so I’ll do that today but that won’t be too strenuous.

5 years since Covid impacted all our lives ☹️ Do you have any specific memories? I’m glad to say I have no really bad memories we didn’t lose anyone to it or even have anyone ill, I do remember the fear of what might come and that was hard, fear for our loved ones. We were 3 days into a holiday when lock down was announced and packed our bags and came straight home. I do have happy memories of doing jigsaws to pass the time and walking the streets chatting at a distance.
