  1. the form is much better, suddenly a lot of experts are on social media proclaiming how good ardley is. ???? imagine if some said this when more seemed vocal about wanting him out. i think it will end up as a draw myself. if notts won another game it would be unbelievable.
  2. i dont want to get carried away, i will take tomorrow first. i think the game should be lively, its a great response by notts fans who deserve to see some good football.
  3. the second half sounded better on the radio, i think with some of the players it is all down to confidence because once this has been lifted we seem to thrive. i am pleased for mitch rose and ross fitzsimons, im sure nobody wants them to fail but seeing them step up and earn positive feedback it must be good.
  4. im hoping that ardley gives osborne the start ahead of shields. i think lacey needs to remain in the squad, with rose playing further up the pitch. i can see the game being a 1-1 draw, but i will take it.
  5. a few changes is common sense, i feel like ardley is sticking with the team just for the sake of it and in the hopes that they can drag themselves out of the poor form. he has mentioned watching players off the ball, which makes it baffling when he continues to start some. he will have his own reasons but i do think osborne and lacey need to come in to the squad, with turner being injured i would expect this. rawlinson is very inconsistent too, he will play well one game and then look like a different player altogether.
  6. touch game with them doing well and looking like a solid team. people will say notts has the better team but our recent form does not compare, i think being away from home right now is the only benefit. ardley needs to make a few changes. keep lacey in team, allow osborne to start.
  7. good win, sounds like a very poor performance but the cleansheet is important. its something to build on now.
  8. its a good time for ardley to sit out some of the poor performances, i just hope if he does drop some, that he rewards those that do well.
  9. i would try lacey and turner, but i do think it depends on if hes a 100% fit. i hope ardley makes some sensible changes and not the whole squad. i think some is needed, just not too many.
  10. i am disappointed with the poor form. but i do think the squad needs more time, they will be adding their own pressure and our expectations had lifted with the good results. i do agree that ardley needs to accept that certain players have not been giving enough. why does he insist on playing out of form players when hes signed so many players this season? i think some would fight more to keep their place in the team.
  11. i dont think neal ardley needs to change much, perhaps start the same squad that played in the cup. wes thomas and kyle wootton seem to be in great form.
  12. i am pleased with how notts have adjusted to the national league, the opening game seemed to be a wake up call. losing the title to forest does annoy me tbh, i dont like the thought of them gaining something which is not deserved. it should go to the oldest founding member imo. i hope the club continues to improve and finds some steady form, away is massive towards this season.
  13. you can see the team are heading the right direction, i think ardley has done well with all the nonsense from those who did not learn from the dismissal of nolan. it was great to see the players fired up, they looked like they wanted to score as early as possible. i think dennis should be starting on rotation, he looks fired up but we need to keep him like this. he will get goals and change the outcome, between him, thomas and tyson i think we have the squad to really dig deep.
  14. im a bit nervous, think notts will do okay but a draw would not surprise me. the club cant keep winning, well i mean we cant expect them too and a draw would hardly be a bad result. its nice to see us doing well but even the worst case should not effect our position that much.
  15. i hope we can get back to winning ways, with it being a tuesday night game i do think it will be quieter but i have felt the kops been very lively as of late. think we just need to pass the ball and retain possession, chances should come.
  16. im hoping that notts can get a third win against dover but provided the team plays well, i would be happy with a draw. i think after that stupid article about notts not adapting well to the non league was published, i think its encouraged the players to push themselves. just hope neal ardley keeps the squad settled as this seems important.
  17. it was a good performance for the turnout, notts always struggles to play flowing football but despite a few moans where i watch the game from, i did feel it was quite entertaining. both teams attacked, they had some good chances. i thought they were wasteful on goal. their manager has took to complaining about things such as a penalty which could have been given, yet his team did not time what they did create. the back to back wins are important, it builds morale and confidence, eases some of the pressure too. that is what i take from the game!
  18. fantastic win, i did not expect notts to claim a 2-1 win. think the clean sheet should have been saved but 3 points are ours!
  19. think meadow lane should see around 12-13k. will hopefully be higher than most league two clubs. i think the game itself will be tricky, the players need to keep working hard and just create. its easier said than done, yet will all the support i would not want them to become nervous or complacent. need to work hard.
  20. the small minority do my head in, always the first to complain and you cannot even get any form of rational thought out of them. they just quote stats or add the word "fact" to the end of everything. i dont mind people who voice intelligent arguments for why they are ardley out. i think most of those would be prepared to give him time, its the idiots who just seem to enjoy causing trouble.
  21. brill article @Simon Clark. makes a lot of sense!
  22. a lot of these games this season are new to me, i dont know what to expect but i think if notts plays well that a good result will come. what is with all the reactions on social media suggesting notts will lose because of sam graham being injured? a lot of negative calls was made about him, notts will be fine.
  23. i think they might be one of the better teams to visit meadow lane so far, they look a good side and can score. i dont think it will never that easy, but pace looks a plus for us as does the experience.
  24. these are quality prints! i have about five now. i am very tempted to get one of regan booty and nathan tyson. keep up the good work @Chris
  25. pin them back and it could be another chorley typed result. it depends if they make it hard for notts, if its all hoofball i cant seeing anything other than a draw.
