Notts County's season continues to go from strength to strength after a solid 1-0 win over Port Vale in Saturday's League Two fixture at Vale Park. Lewis Alessandra came on as a substitute and scored with his first touch of the game in the second half to edge the visitors ahead. The Valiants didn't offer much and, even with Shaun Brisley coming off injured and leaving the Magpies down to ten men having made all their substitutions, they still couldn't find a way back into the game.Updated by Joe Jones

Notts County were pegged back eight minutes into injury time as Mansfield Town's late, late penalty saw them leave Meadow Lane with a point in a 1-1 draw. The Magpies were on the verge of recording a first league win over the Stags since 2005 in front of a bumper crowd that braved the snowy, cold, treacherous conditions at the San Sirrel. Kevin Nolan's boys took the lead in the first half through Terry Hawkridge bundling home, but the Stags were given the chance to equalise eight minutUpdated by Joe Jones

Notts County have claimed a 1-1 draw in Saturday's League Two encounter at Stevenage. The Magpies fell behind at Broadhall Way through Danny Newton's 38th-minute strike, but levelled through Elliott Hewitt in the second half. Stevenage then found themselves repelling numerous attacks from the visitors and were lucky to hold out until the final whistle and ensure a share of the spoils. Combined with Cheltenham Town's 97th-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Luton Town, the draw ensAdded by Joe Jones

Notts County's FA Cup journey ended on a sour note as Swansea City ran out 8-1 winners in their FA Cup fourth-round replay at the Liberty Stadium. Tammy Abraham and Nathan Dyer grabbed braces, while Kyle Naughton, Wayne Routledge, Tom Carroll and Daniel James all scored one apiece as Noor Husin's impressive 35th-minute strike proved a scant consolation. How did the Kevin Nolan, the Notts players and the fans react to the result? Pride of Nottingham has compiled the post-match reaction.Updated by Joe Jones

Notts County have ended 2017 on a sour note as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Swindon Town on Saturday. In a game of few chances, the Robins broke the deadlock shortly after the restart when Luke Norris drilled home Keshi Anderson’s low cross. Notts came close to an equaliser in the dying stages of the game when Dan Jones saw a header tipped over the bar by Reice Charles-Cook, but it wasn't to be. How did the fans react to the defeat and what did the gaffer have to say? Here isAdded by Joe Jones

Notts County have relinquished top spot in League Two after being pegged back by Yeovil Town for a 1-1 draw at Huish Park on Tuesday night. The Magpies had looked on course to remain at the summit when substitute Jonathan Forte raced through to produce an excellent finish. However, former Notts forward Francois Zoko was brought down in the box late on for a penalty which he duly rattled home from the spot for a share of the points. Here is how Kevin Nolan, plus the Black and WhiteAdded by Joe Jones

Since coming to Meadow Lane two years ago, Ronan Murray has quickly established himself as one of Notts County’s first-choice players. The young Irishman originally signed to the club on a short-term contract as one of four successful trialists in 2013, but he went on to play a key role in helping the Magpies avoid relegation from League One with nine goals in 16 starts. Of course, there was the odd setback, most notably the red card on the quarter-hour mark of thUpdated by cheeky~k8

Pride of Nottingham spoke to several Notts fans before the game about how they think Jamie Fullarton had done so far at the Meadow Lane helm, whether Liam Noble and Blair Adams should be in the squad, whether more signings needed to be made and what they thought the day’s result would be.Added by Chris

Mark Cooper's magpies' unfortunately suffered their third back-to-back defeat, as Shaun Derry's Cambridge United triumph away from home. The U's Luke Berry opened up proceedings as he charged down County keeper Scott Loach's clearance and the ball flew into the far corner of the net. County pulled back on level terms as Haydn Hollis met a Liam Noble free-kick. However, Ben Williamson got the winner after a goalmouth scramble. -- Pride of Nottingham's Notts-Joe and Joe JonesUpdated by Chris

Mark Cooper secured Notts County's first home win of 2016, and first under his reign, as a much improved magpies' score late goal against Stevenage. Jon Stead volleyed home for magpies' in the first half, however his spectator effort was ruled offside. Stevenage's Fraser Franks produced their best best chance of the game from Chris Whepldale's free-kick, but Notts keeper Scott Loach saved superbly. With time running out, Liam Noble rifled into the corner from the edge of the area to give CAdded by Chris

Notts County's first home game of the 2016-17 League Two season saw John Sheridan's side take on Darren Sarll's Stevenage FC at Meadow Lane. The game was mostly uneventful, as the Magpies conceded fairly early onto the game with an horrific defensive mistake, which saw Notts pegged back to 1-0 - until striker Jon Stead struck before the end of the first half making it 1-1. Notts County have made it seven matches unbeaten in all competitions thanks to victory over Swindon Town on Tuesday night. The Robins came to Meadow Lane hoping to extend their superb away record in League Two, but luckily - for us - it wasn't to be. Arguably the toughest opponent on paper for Notts so far this season since Coventry City, Kevin Nolan's charges were well drilled and well organised. The winner came midway through the first half as Olly Lancashire conceded a penalty,Updated by Chris

Notts County managed to seize a draw from the jaws of defeat on Saturday as their League Two game with Forest Green Rovers ended all square at Meadow Lane. The division's bottom side took the lead on the half-hour mark through Omar Bugiel and held on to their advantage until the 96th minute of injury time, when Rob Milsom nodded home for a final score of 1-1. The Magpies barely deserved to come away with anything following a very lacklustre performance against Mark Cooper's side and haUpdated by Joe Jones

Notts County's superb unbeaten league home run has come to an end as Exeter City ran out 2-1 winners in Saturday's encounter at Meadow Lane. The high-flying Grecians, who are in the promotion mix, took the lead after just seven minutes through Jake Taylor. Jayden Stockley then doubled the visitors' lead just before half time as the Magpies struggled to click with several new players in the XI and in the absence of Matt Tootle and Richard Duffy.
